there is evidence, no 'proof' and that is what is being investigated. And they are not likely to show any investigative work product that is current to a compound gimp or his circlefelch.

Consider Watergate. No 'proof' at the beginning of that. Consider Whitewater. No 'proof' at the beginning of that.

The hilarious, REALLY hilarious part about the investigation is that it can and should lead to the Democrats who really have colluded with the Russians

Once a special counsel gets started he can go anywhere the bread crumbs take him, and there is nothing on Trump

But plenty on Hillary and Obama

Pretty much not. As you say, he can go anywhere bread crumbs lead him, and Il Douchovitch has not led a particularly reverent, nor virginal life.

He is also not given to truth telling, and that is going to be his downfall. You dont lie to those guys.
