Of course you are free to hold that policy and sacrifice your life should you ever be faced with that situation. Most of you will never face that choice anyway.

My friends brought stories home from Nam about how children were used in the war. My friend's brother never came home from Nam because a child ran up to his chopper with a hidden grenade. I grew up in Detroit. I have shotgun ricochet scars on my face. I was protecting my girlfriend from a very young teen holding up a store. I am also aware of the children's guerrilla army (Lord's Resistance Army) in Africa... half of the world's child soldiers (100,000+) are in Africa according to UNOCHA (google Joseph Kony if you are interested).

With terrorist training Muslim children to carry on the Jihad, Canada should be training it's army to kill children. There is the likely hood they may face children when deployed... and those children were trained to kill them. Those children were trained to kill using live infidel prisoners**. So it won't be their first kill, they have had practice and they won't hesitate. If the Canadian military hesitates because it is the first time they encounter a child and haven't trained for it, they will end up dead. (**google for recruitment videos showing kids blowing handcuffed prisoner's brains out. But be careful which sites you visit or you'll trip FBI surveillance)

So with all this in my mind, I have taken a reasonable look at the OP's question. I didn't give a thoughtless, uniformed knee jerk reply. Never is fine for you. For me, if they are a deadly threat, they get a deadly response no matter what age or gender.
