interesntingly the federal government has a great deal of legitimate roles, none of them are commies in the whitehouse, nor nutsuckers. You havent got a pasture, and your bathroom floors where you ply your trade are not regulated too heavily, they allow you in to felchgobble for instance.

It's amazing how many people still fall for the trickle down fallacy. Variations of this approach have been implemented in the US, the UK and Australia over the past few decades. Yet it has failed to produce the promised results anywhere. The fact that solutions are still needed for the problems that trickledown is supposed to solve is self evident proof of its failure. The only tangible results of trickle down has been the massive transfer of wealth from the middle and working classes to the uber rich, as the enormous disparities in wealth between the rich and the poor that have materialised in these countries proves. The rest of society has subsidised the wealthy for decades now and have nothing to show for it but unemployment and poverty. Yet some poor fools advocate more of the same tired failed-everywhere-it-has-been-tried-approach as a solution to the problems that trickle down approaches have exacerbated. How dumb is that?

I 100% agree igor2003, who said A large part of the "government" you are asking about are either part of that 1%, or they get significant contributions from that 1%. The reason for wanting to funnel more money to that top 1% can easily be summed up in just one word. GREED. Whom of you do understand this?

The Venezuela that Sanders mentioned in his essay is not the same Venezuela that appeared after Maduro. Of course you ALWAYS fail to mention that.
