Banning of Burka - Check!

But what is wonderful is:

Other measures include a clampdown on distributing extremist material, and immigrants being obliged to sign an "integration contract".

A 12-month "integration programme" will include courses in "values" and the German language. Failure to attend can result in cuts to social security payments.

Seriously, great idea!

I would not support such a ban unless it was in public buildings and such.

But then that is just the usually psychotic me, the type who is going to take over the world. I am still against forcing them to wear it though.

Well the ban of burka is seen on one hand as trying to control what women can or cannot wear. But the way I see it, Muslim women who wear burka some Muslim countries are not allowed to wear anything else but burka.

So when we ban the burka, we free them and give them an excuse to have the opportunity to wear something else other than burka when they visit here as tourist since it's illegal.

To me, it's about freedom. I mean conservative Muslim women are still free to wear fully covered in a different type of clothing.
