For several pages now, on this and other threads, other posters and I have been pressing BoscoX to explain why he supports arming the Saudis, who enforce one of the world's harshest Sharia regimes while simultaneously pretending to be outraged by Sharia law in other Muslim countries. Thus far, no explanation has been provided by BoscoX. If one is genuinely against Sharia law - and there are plenty of very good reasons to object to this obscene brutal medieval hangover - then it stands to reason that one would be against arming and reinforcing regimes that impose Sharia law with all its attendant outrages. Clearly one excludes the other. No civilised person would supply arms that are going to be used to enforce Sharia. Yet Bosco, who likes to pose as a fierce anti-Sharia warrior, who endlessly stokes the flames of Islamophobia, who misses no opportunity to attack Islam, supports supplying arms to one of the world's most egregious offenders. Unless a sensible explanation is forthcoming, is there any reason not to conclude that BoscoX's position is rank hypocrisy, that he is only against Sharia when it suits his political interests and ideology, that all his ranting and raving against Islam is nothing more than an expedient pose?
