Will the UK Conservatives ever form a government?

How do I explain this in one paragraph that makes a modicum of sense to those not familiar with what is happening in the UK as a result of last weeks Election in the United Kingdom.

In essence the Conservative party - They are trying to form a coalition with a party called the DUP and their 12 MP's
DUP is this party Democratic Unionist Party a bunch of right wing nutters.

oh fuk it they are completely desperate now. There you go did that in one line *smiles

May resigns and calls yet another election - why drag this charade on?

Here is John Major take on it from today Sir John Major 'dubious' about Conservative-DUP deal

Christ how do I explain Northern Ireland in a paragraph to those not familiar with it and their history

From the Irish perspective alone John Major is right.

Theresa May has every right to form a minority government too - which would most likely, and quickly, end up with a vote of no confidence, her resigning, and another general election

The orange order are already insisting that now the DUP are forming a coalition government then the ban on them marching through republican areas has to be repealed.
The state opening of Parliament and the Brexit negotiation meeting the following Monday are pretty much certain to be delayed all of the arsing about, inconveniencing both her Majesty Bettie Windsor and the democratically elected leaderssinister cabal of authoritarian zionists who run the European Parliament.
May has reinstated the loathsome Michael Gove to a cabinet seat, apparently on the orders of Rupert Murdoch.
Things are likely to get more pathetic still before any improvement is shown...

Yes.

She has to go - I dont see the point of dragging this out any longer.

1. She should have immediately resigned
2. Called yet another another another fuking election

In theory Jeremy Corbyn can/could form a minority government and now. Again that would result in a vote of no confidence...or would it?

But the depraved demented desperate hag is trying to form an official coalition with the 12 MPs from the DUP - and even if she does that will not last >2 years. She will not last 6 months btw, before her own party gets rid of her, and they try an install the one called Boris depending on the 1922 faction.

Gove was May's main rival for the conservative leadership when the pigfucker stood down in a snit after the Brexit referendum. On taking the job herself, may replaced him as a cabinet member and sent him to the back benches with a sneery dismissal. Gove consoled himself with an additional income writing for the Times during his exile, having had a previous career as a hack for that very paper before starting a political career, and it's been suggested that May has only reinstated him to a cabinet seat (and one for which his past career would seem to make him spectacularly unsuitable) because Murdoch told her that if she didn't then News International would start taking a far harsher line towards her government than it has previously.

You are aware almost all of this site thinks we make the pigfuker thing up? Piggate. I never lie and neither does WM from everything I have read of his.

The Englanders are aware the Sun screams for Scottish Independence in the Scottish Sun Edition?
And Tory Scumbag in their the England Sun Edition?

I thought the one called Boris Jonhson was the main challenger when the fuker (allegedly) of dead pigs mouths stood down. I thought all that party had many jobs to supplement their incomes and share ownership? Hard graft 4 days a year for £250 000

to those who are unaware the influential 1922 back bench committee is this

1922 Committee

Osborne, can he even write? I bet you the entitled wee boy idiot is a millionaire?

General election 2017: 'May is dead woman walking' - Osborne

Even a lie-abed with DUP will be short lived for her government, she cant be long for this world in any event.

My bets is elections will be called by fall no matter what, her twat is oversold.

Murdoch's very in favour of Scottish independence, as a matter of fact. Rather than a political issue, he sees it as an opportunity to take over from the BBC north of the border if Scotland leads the UK. There was quite a bit about that in Private Eye and the New Statesman in the run up to the referendum: mostly accounts of Alex Salmond going utterly ballistic whenever anybody in the media mentioned his negotiations with Murdoch. I think the SNP are still refusing to talk to DC Thompson even now over one of their news magazines revealing this, aren't they?

Gove was one of Johnson's accomplices during the referendum campaign, and threw his hat into the ring for the leadership afterwards. Johnson didn't, for some reason, try for leadership of the conservative party at that point, possibly because being PM during the Brexit process could well prove the kiss of death for a further political career afterwards but also (and May's treatment of Gove bears this out) because the winner of any such pissing match is unlikely to treat their defeated rivals with indulgent tolerance afterwards.

My political opinion does not remotely enter into this.

No, not long left.
1. She should have resigned that very morning
2. 2 weeks-6 months what do you think whoremods as he is "British" and knows things and stuff. I am opting for 1-4 weeks myself.

May was a staunch remain, or stench remain perhaps

One of her ex-colleagues described May as a "dead woman walking". Her future looks very bleak. Thankfully

The one encouraging aspect about the whole sorry mess that is the Tory Party at the moment is the widespread revulsion within the Tories at the prospect of an alliance with the DUP. It seems today's Tories have reservations about relying on the DUP, a party whose sole policy is intransigence - No surrender, no same sex marriage no abortion no 21st century and absolutely no compromise on anything. The DUP is so reactionary it makes Neanderthals sound positively modern.

This DUP-Tory alliance will endanger the future of the Good Friday Agreement in Ulster, and with it, the delicate peace that has prevailed there since the Agreement was signed. That May is prepared to jeopardise peace in Ulster in order to satisfy her own ambition and position tells us all we need to know about her.

Now, there's talk of Sinn Fein taking up their seats at Westminster. This really has become maelstrom.

As I mentioned above: the orangemen are already demanding that the ban on them marching through catholic areas singing "The Sash Me Father Wore" be yanked now that the conservatives are sucking up to their bitches in parliament to hang onto enough of a majority to avoid a vote of no confidence...

It would be downright bloody surreal. The latest news from Sinn Fein is an 'absolutely not'. Well, as Ron says: absolutely worth staying up to watch if it happens.

Can you explain Democratic Unionist Party and Sinn Fein in one paragraph?

I loathe both parties even more than I do the tory scum bag party - this should mean something
