In a sense you are correct Greta! What a surprise! But in what sense are you correct? Well a lot of Muslims who aren't members of IS are engaged in politically directed violence at the moment. Most of these Muslims are in places like Syria and Iraq - fighting IS. Most of the multi-national coalition of dozens of nations fighting IS are Muslim countries. Almost all of the front-line troops fighting IS are Muslims. And these Muslims enjoy the support of almost all of the rest of the Muslim world, The goal of these violent Muslims is the total destruction of IS, and they are succeeding in accomplishing this goal. So in this sense and that sense only you are correct to say that IS aren't the only violent Muslims around.

Iran and Saudi, it's like choosing the better of the worst. Both put gay people to death. US chose Saudi because Saudi is richer. It's as simple as that. If you are choosing between two evils, then you choose the evil where you can suckle more money out of them. Alot of political relations are bullshit front. I mean the fact that Saudi can give the Malaysian PM a personal gift of 700million dollars, just like that. US could use an ally who likes to throw away money just like that to help with their debt.

Greta you may recall that, when IS took over Mosul in Iraq, they gained access to a mountain of money in the Iraqi Reserve Bank there. There were reports of up to $500,000,000 there that fell into IS's hands. There were also multiple reports of the Qatari and Saudi Govts financing and arming IS too, though they have both ceased this practice. IS also obtained funds through trading in oil and antiquities through Turkey though this avenue of funding is now closed too. I don't doubt that IS receives some funding from individuals in Saudi and the Gulf countries but to assert that "most of the fundings donated to Mosques world wide ... are directed to IS" is a wild and unsubstantiated claim. If you have any evidence to support this claim, please post it.
