In a sense you are correct Greta! What a surprise! But in what sense are you correct?

Well a lot of Muslims who aren't members of IS are engaged in politically directed violence at the moment. Most of these Muslims are in places like Syria and Iraq - fighting IS. Most of the multi-national coalition of dozens of nations fighting IS are Muslim countries. Almost all of the front-line troops fighting IS are Muslims. And these Muslims enjoy the support of almost all of the rest of the Muslim world, The goal of these violent Muslims is the total destruction of IS, and they are succeeding in accomplishing this goal.

So in this sense and that sense only you are correct to say that IS aren't the only violent Muslims around.

What crap. Not only are you juvenile, you're an intellectual fraud as well.

What a sad case you are!

You don't like that I posted some facts that challenge the line being pushed by our resident looney Right Islamophobes. And unable to challenge any of the facts in my post (because they are all true), you resort to name calling. And then you have the nerve to call me "juvenile" when you are acting like the proverbial 5 year old who has had his marbles confiscated by his mother.

What a petulant childish moron you are. Instead of dishing out abuse, try working at your intellectual pretensions a bit harder and one of these days you might find you have elevated yourself to be Bosco's intellectual equal. I know that's quite a way above where you are at currently but you never know - you might just have that in you ... and wouldn't it be suuuuccchhhh an accomplishment for you!

Borrowed this from someone on another post just to show what crap you post.

That, and the polling data from the website linked in the post directly above yours, and the sheer number of attacks and the resulting monthly death toll statistics data fairly puts to bed any notion that the percentages of Muslims who take the calls to violence in he Koran seriously are a tiny minority

The percentages are obviously very substantial

Musicmystery -> RE: Celebrating Ramadan (6/23/2017 2:54:36 PM)

Opinions.

Opinions.

Statistical data compiled from scientific polls regarding opinions of the people who count - Muslims. Opinions about whether or not they (Muslims) believe in violence in the name of Allah

Where are you going to find more relevant scientific data

(What are you, a denier or something)

Musicmystery -> RE: Celebrating Ramadan (6/23/2017 3:30:29 PM)

Yep. Opinions.

All nicely organized. But opinions.

Nailed it

Musicmystery -> RE: Celebrating Ramadan (6/23/2017 6:21:06 PM)

Just shows the idiocy of both of you.

Someone does an opinion poll. A really good one. All scientific and shit.

What have we learned? What people's opinions are.

Nothing necessarily factual. Opinions.

Those are your fingers and your ears.

I hope you licked the shit off first.

The idiocy of what you are saying stems from the fact that belief in the Quran, or the principals of the Quran, are simply that, believe/opinion. It can't be measured like how long a wave of light is. It's not sciencetific it is religion. It is belief and opinion.

So when they ask people of a specific faith if the believe, are of the opinion, a certain act or idea is compatible with their faith, it is more than you are trying to diminish this in to. But you know that, you just want to be "right" no matter what so...moose call

Musicmystery -> RE: Celebrating Ramadan (6/23/2017 6:38:41 PM)

I know that in your circle, repeating an opinion makes it fact.

I can hear ya that you say "A lot of these people hold this opinion."

It doesn't make it more than an opinion.

I have faith you will always act like an asshat. A lot of people here think that. We could do a poll.

And it may well be a fact that you will always act like an asshat. But the poll would only tell us that a lot of people here hold that opinion.

We'd need more to establish it as anything more than an opinion.
