yes because it can only be a better situation with less regulations
of course you are immune anyway

"You just want people to die"

Your posts (such as they are) can be destroyed with truth.
Thats why you can never respond without distracting.even nancy knows it.

"Truth"

What is this profound truth. "More regulations are ALWAYS better"?

Or people will die!!!

Else, what "truth" do you mean

She's got a small little world and a closed mind. Truth is a ephemeral thing to her. Whatever blocks the fear in her for the moment. It's sad really. Sad, but quite entertaining. I especially like it when she gets so out of her depth that the mental patient comes to defend her. Now that's funny. The "sick" leading the "ick".

Funny.. I just watched a vid done by PBS Nova called Poisoned Water which is about Flint & how the lead poisoning was discovered & how the govt tried to cover it up & doctor test results.. one of the way they did this is by telling the people whose water was being tested to run their taps for 5 minutes before taking the water sample.. doing that lowers lead levels dramatically, cuz the water that has the highest lead is the water that has been sitting in the pipes while lead is dissolving into it.. Anyone that can should watch that show cuz it is an example of how little you can trust any of them..

and btw,... one of those people who turned a blind eye to the whole thing was a former head & other employees of the fucking EPA!!!! So much for the EPA protecting your water...

"The following month, six more state employees were charged with misconduct in office for their alleged roles in contaminating Flint’s water supply. Those charges, against three Department of Health and Human Services employees and three from the Department of Environmental Quality, included claims that some had hid or disregarded test results showing high lead levels in the blood of Flint residents and had tampered with water test results sent to federal officials."

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/energy-environment/wp/2016/12/20/four-more-officials-charged-with-felonies-in-flint-water-crisis/

But, but, say it ain't so. Everyone knows more government protects us more. It's truth, the hag said so.

Now to be fair, that's how water samples are taken from a tap. You want to sample the "general" water supply not that which has been sitting stagnant. Of course the leftist PBS would find something nefarious about it. But consider, say there was 1 PPM of something in the general water supply. But you sample at a stagnant point source and get a spike reading of 3 PPM. You have an erroneous false reading. An instantaneous extra 2 PPM isn't going to affect you personally but a false reading of an extra 2 PPM will affect the perception of the entire supply. Keep in mind that the vast majority of the samples taken in this manner are taken to determine chlorine content. Chlorine degrades as it comes in contact with organic matter. So a degradation of chlorine in a stagnant point source tells you there has been a degradation of organic matter as well, which is a good thing. But it doesn't tell you if the chlorine content of the general supply is high enough to reach that point source with enough disinfectant properties active.

I think this is more a comment on PPS making something nefarious that really isn't.

I know

Then objective is to test the public water supply rather than whatever localized system from which a given sample is taken

I just found it ironic that in a thread intended to vilify Republicans as heartless monsters who want people to die they use Obama-era rules and officials as their reference propaganda

No, Lucy deserves it. It's strange though, you only seem to ever see negative comments made by conservatives. I've never seen you say something like this to a fellow traveler. So I guess the real question is your myopia while viewing topics. I'd be much more comfortable with your supposed objectivity had I ever seen it.

Except that its not how people live in the real world.. no one runs their water for 5 long minutes when they want a drink of water or to wash their veggies or to have a shower or to fill their kettle or to wash their clothes or to fill their dog's water bowl or to fill the ice cube tray or to fill their pot to cook pasta, etc etc and especially kids dont do that and its kids that the lead in Flint did the most damage to.. and there is no way to get the lead out of a person's body.. so its vitally important to not drink the shite in the first gawd damned place!!!! I guess the fact that Flint didnt use any corrosion control in the water to keep the pipes from leaching goes right over your head, btw, its a Federal crime for them not to include proper corrosion control in the water supply.. those POS were charged for a very good reason, they knew that which is why they then tried to cover it up (the 5 minute thing was just one part of how they did it)..
