Hardly, typical atheist slack brain pounding square pegs into a round holes and not surprisingly misrepresenting the whole premise.

You are atheist and hence cannot experience heightend enlightenment in the same way someone who is religious.


Enlightenment is a traditionally mystical and slippery concept, but when it is subjected to the rigors of empirical analysis, there is a lot to be learned about our brains and ourselves. Dr. Andrew Newberg, who has put enlightenment through a battery of scientific tests, says there are actually two kinds of enlightenment: lowercase-e enlightenment, which changes our opinions about the world, and Enlightenment, which changes our essence, i.e. how we think of life, death, God, etc.

Its real, atheists are now proven slackers.

First, I'm a major proponent of meditation.

Second, I'm not an atheist. So basically, you're full of shit.

The point is that your representation of this matter as "religious people use more of their brain" is your own fantasy/misunderstanding.

And the book itself posits a link between faith and health (and not the converse, incidentally).

And I'd agree -- a healthy faith is beneficial overall physical and emotionally.

But you've taken a leap beyond. You've no support except your fantasy.

Faith and meditation are one way for the healthy state described. Plenty of people who consider themselves atheists meditate, btw.

I dont need luck, I have already shown your attempt to minimalize the religious aspect by missapplication whether willful or simply because you started barking before you actually looked into it.

We do agree that faith is healthy and beneficial overall too bad atheists dont have any.
