Foreign companies never used to open factories in the US.
In fact, this is the first one I know of.

I guess it must be because of Trump.

A sarcasm font would be really handy in here, wouldn't it?
Maybe we could adopt that shade of blue conspiracy boy is putting his posts in now as one? It'd serve the double purpose of making him easier to ignore and making it obvious that somebody else is taking the piss rather than speaking with an unforked tongue and expecting to be taken seriously.

Despite Trump's dire rhetoric, unemployment is low -- 4.4%. It's high in particular regions and among particular populations.

Wisconsin is not one of those -- in fact, Wisconsin unemployment is at a 17 year low of 3.2%.

You could take that $3 billion Wisconsin taxpayers will contribute, divide it among every unemployed person in Wisconsin's labor force, cutting each of them a check for $30,000.

Which do you think would be more popular?

Paying people who are claiming benefits is unamerican socialist nonsense and rewarding failure, though. You might as well dig up Horatio Alger's corpse and piss on it.

I'm going to say the jobs--people would rather have jobs than handouts any day.

It makes sense that Trump would be trying to find ways to get himself re-elected and focusing on the states he flipped in 2016 is a good way to do that.
People don't actually care about the world or the future, they only care about the here and now.
A big part of why environmentalism, feminism and showing basic respect for people who are different aren't more popular is because they require sacrifices and extra effort without much in the way of immediate returns.

There seems to be a lot of doubts about whether or not this factory will happen and how they're going to subsidize it, but if it goes through Trump will go out of his way to turn it into a large PR win.
It's not like he has anything else to do, and taking credit for others' work is what he does best.

1) This is costing Wisconsin taxpayers $230,000 per job. That seems a tad high . . .

2) Scott and Trump say 13,000 jobs, Foxconn says 3,000 jobs.

3) This is not the place that needs a new factory (3.2% unemployment rate)

Once again, you out yourself as a leftist because it's about ALL you ever fucking say.
Your act is older than Tommie's punkassmotherfucker line that he used until the keys wore out.

It's Ryan's district, Walker's state and Priebus' home. That's who profits from this deal.

Of course he does: he had to couple of shots and a course of pills after he fucked your mother. He'd have found it a lot less offensive if she hadn't charged him to do so and demanded extra for taking it up her arse.

Yep.

I wonder if I moved my business if Ryan would pay me four times my labor costs in taxpayer money.

Scott Walker and Donald Trump making America Great Again. 3000 new jobs to start, up to 13,000 new jobs in SE Wisconsin.

They said they would invest 7 billion dollars if the taxpayers of Wisconsin will give them 3 billion dollars. Even a dumbass can do the math.
They also promised the same shit to Pennsylvania ... never happened.
Jesus you are phoquing stupid

Also, lets not forget the infrastructure to be built for this company. A company that will be the size of 7 NFL fields. The motels, home sales, restaurants, bars and every other business within at least 30 miles. Again. a huge deal for WI.

Perhaps you could cite for us comparable infrastructure build outs when toyota, bmw, vw, and other companies built similar factories.
If not then me thinks the bartender is just polishing his trump trumpet.

I suppose that would depend on how much you would give him under the table.

I should also amend my earlier post since it looks like we're experiencing a case of Priebus interruptus at the moment. Too bad for him.
