Ah yes 10 billion quid Trump takes credit for Foxconn's 'incredible investment' Taiwanese manufacturing giant Foxconn announced plans to invest $10bn (£7.6bn) in a new factory in the US. The plant, to be located in Wisconsin, is expected to make LCD panels and employ 3,000 people initially. President Donald Trump, claimed credit for Foxconn's "incredible investment" which he said would not have happened if he had not been elected. Foxconn has been promised $3bn in subsidies which would come from the state of Wisconsin.

15 billion dollars. at full 13K making 35K a year (they wont) that 0.455B payback a year.so, eventually 13K jobs maybe but not likely, payback is in say 40 years, no interest.Who the fuck is paying for this? WI? They better do all of it and it better go way better than cheese and beer, cuz they aint no good at that shit. Borrow and spend for 2 generations............who the fuck are the innumerate nutsuckers thinking this stupid shit up?

Foxconn will have an initial investment of approximately 10 billion. Average wage is said to be in the low 50's. Every state in the country would have wanted this plant, along with many other countries.

It's not extortion. It's competition. Maybe you should talk to the people that live in the area where this will be built, they are very happy to say the least. This will be a huge boon for that part of WI.

Also, lets not forget the infrastructure to be built for this company. A company that will be the size of 7 NFL fields. The motels, home sales, restaurants, bars and every other business within at least 30 miles. Again. a huge deal for WI.
