Me. I'm proud of our heritage as the land of freedom. Yeah, too bad we lost it. In Britain, if you are caught driving without a license they give you like a fortnight to bring one to the constubulatory. I Russia you do not need a fishing license. Once you qualify with a firearm your hunting license is good for life. Think Germany is a free country ? You are simply not allowed to fish at all. Look at the drug laws in Amsterdam. Look at the laws in Uruguay. Meantime in some places in California you can be fined if your lawn turns brown, and also fined if you water it. Not sure if this is still true but in some places in Michigan you were not allowed to work on your own car in your own driveway. In Independence, Ohio, if you have a jet ski in your driveway the cops are coming. Nobody needs a search warrant anymore unless you have clout. And money to fight them. I know some people who beat them but why did they have to in the first place ? The shit they did hurt noone. This has not been a free country for a long time. And in fact the Alien and Sedition act was passed when the ink on the Constitution was barely dry. I have met immigrants from eastern bloc countries in my line of work and they ask "Where is the freedom ?". They have technical skills, that's how I got to know them. One simply started a campfire in a state park and got into a sleeping bag and up comes a ranger telling him the park was closed. Closed ? Campgrounds are mostly privately owned now and you must pay the owner to use them. And this shit with Cliven Bundy, his family had a previous claim on that land and he owes the government NOTHING. But we got people calling him a thief and all that. They are brainwashed to think the government is always right no matter how wrong they are. And Randy Weaver and the Davidians in Waco never hurt anyone. They tried to claim there was a meth lab in Waco but they themselves destroyed any and all evidence that may have existed. A newspaper reported the names and addresses of all registered gun owners in NY somewhere. They got away with it. But when the website overthrow dot com published the names of judges who made unconstitutional rulings, the owner of the site was sent to prison. And look at Ernst Zundel, who never hurt anyone. Spirited off to Canada then to a German prison because of a website that bore his name. Free country ? I am about to laugh like I haven't laughed in years. Don't even think it. Oh, and of you text someone "Get back in the truck" you can be charged with manslaughter. Shoot me. T^T
