All I really know about Glasgow is that a single woman should not be out alone at night there. And that advice was gleaned from watching Scot Youtubers talking about the town.

A single woman ?? Christ, even the dogs go around in pairs there and any cat with two ears and a tail is a stranger in the district. I once got confronted by some guy in a pub there who wanted to fight me over the outcome of the big rebellion. I frantically flipped through my knowledge of recent rebellions and couldn't come up with one. After much palaver, swearing and misunderstanding, the bouncer explained it was some rebellion back in the 1700's he was on about. Strange people indeed
