Can I request that the Germans/Australians/British/Canadians etc folks in here post stuffs about their own politicians more? Maybe also we can learn more about politics in your country and read more about it.

If I didnt know better, I would think some are paranoid that the American love of privately owned firearms is contagious. Nice idea Greta but unfortunately my observation is that threads about countries outside of the US don't seem to last very long. For example Brexit is a major issue for Europeans but a Brexit thread didn't attract an awful lot of attention here. It would be nice to see more threads initiated about politics in the rest of the world but I won't be holding my breath that they will last very long

I appreciate your interest in foreign politics but do not feel any urge to post threads on German topics here - in my observation those that happened over time were largely based on a lack of any background information since your local media are not interested in any ... not to forget the almost inevitable drift of any thread on Germany to all kinds of WWII stuff [sm=eeew.gif] Since most UK/Brexit threads these days describe the standstill and time-wasting coming with it, further discussing the waste of time is exactly that. Wicked's links to BBC and other British media have been interesting indeed but are usually discussed on their pages. Besides I have seen so many international topics drifting to US internal politics of the most un-interesting and irrelevant kind my life is too short for most of that.
