They are wonderfull Susuan, quite wonderfull, and usualy gentle beasts, but I've been bit and stepped on and tripped and bitch slapped by an errent tail and shoved once hehe. not all in same day but my year of riding last year.

LOL Feline! I have only ridden real horses maybe a dozen times in my life (I enjoy it, I just dont' have one of my own, or live near a ranch or farm). But I do like them, and think they are wodnerful animals.

Some great posts, thank you all.

I have always found pony play interesting, and wanted to try it.  Now I have that chance.  In Sept., Mistress and i are going on a pony weekend.  It is a pony event being held on a farm....  I can't wait.  It is going to be a wonderful chance for immursion.

It was the first images I saw that hooked me- John Willey and others. As I read more about it, the other aspects of it got me as well..  The objectification, the training, the "pagentry".  And I'm a sucker for a nice harness.  As for my horse "character", my "pony persona", I would be a Draft Horse...  the heavy mover.  Pullin' the wagon.

Oh yes, and the site of Mistress in Her riding clothes..... o my.  I have a pic of the two of us if anyone would like to see it, please just ask and I can send it to you.

When I put your harness on the you.. the space you go  into is such a wonderful thing, you become My horse, I know that you would work yourself until you dropped for Me,  just like a real horse.
Anyone that has a chance to play with a "pony girl or boy"  by all means do so.. it is a great feeling.
if you want a cheap start, to see if you would enjoy it, go to the local tack shop and get a rubber bit, one with out  a metal center.  fold a long piece of rope in half then tie it off on one side hoop of the bit.. run one side of the rope to the other hoop.  Put it is the ponies mouth, the only problem with this is you will have to keep pressure on it at all times, or it will fall out.  But this will give you brief look at what pony play can be like

i never thought too much about pony play till i read the Beauty Trilogy - LOTS of pony play in those books - i found it very stimulating.  i also find the pictures of ponies very erotic.  i think people who are enticed by this form of play enjoy the sense of helplesness they must feel - especially if they are in "full gear".

i once went to a TES event a few years back and went to a pony play demo. i went in with a mild curiosity and came out mesmerized. The amout of time it took to dress the pony, the equipment, etc was unreal.  i saw a Mistress with her male pony and it must have teken her about an hour to get him fully dressed. He stood up, had a saddle, bit, head dress, reins - a tail but it wasn't a plug (his choice). After she hadhim all ready she ofered rided to any interested LOL... i was too shy but i sure had an interest. My dom was at a different demo and i thought, what would he think if he came in and saw me riding a pony lol... thought better of it. Wish i had done it now lol.

At the end of the demo the Mistress told the audience to ask her or her pony any questions they might have and i went up to the pony as i wanted to understand what he liked about being a pony - he said he enjoyed being able to step outside himself and all responsibility and simply just be a pony - and do things a pony would do. It was a stress relief for him. It made sense to me and in that way it appealed to me.  It's a physically stressful endeavor if you actually function as a pony and that part i would NOT enjoy - this poor man was sweating something fierce and i had to wonder having people ride on your back, in a saddle, compressing those spinal spaces... yikes - years of that could cause a bad back for sure!

i still love good pony play stories and when i read them i always get very aroused. Nice fantasy fodder but i don't think i'd ever really want to try it.

I haven't read the whole thread. I don't know if you've gotten a link for shoes so I thought I would post this for those interested.

For the Do It Yourselfer...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v737/fessup/DIY-HomemadePonygirl.gif

The DIY ponygirl kit can easily be adapted to kittygirl, puppygirl, piggygirl, squirrelgirl, but feathers are needed for a buzzardgirl kit...

The most dissapointing fact despite the overwhelming exoticness of any crittergirl kit or bookoo bucks outfit is that you cannot lift the tail and see the asshole, it's already used and taken by the tailplug... so the subliminal primal beastiality urge goes half cocked, and all the real critters in the neighborhood better watch out!

I find pony play and animal play in general to be beautiful, however, from the community I am part of (furry) it isn't really exotic.
