I wasnt privvy to what he told the police during their interviews with him after he was arrested, so I cant honestly speculate on what he said his reasons were. I honestly doubt highly you were in there with them either. Or were you? He could have said he was scared. Ive seen some alt-left protesting here in Portland...and its scary. Hell, Id use that as the basis of my defense if I stood accused of doing what he allegedly did if you want the honest truth. Im pretty sure any defense attorney worth their weight in salt would advise the same thing. He also could have admitted doing it because he was listening to Carrie Underwood when Jesus did in fact take the wheel while the Easter Bunny and Hitler shared bong hits in the back seat while quoting Scripture for all anyone outside of the investigation knows. Until they release court documents regarding this, no one knows why. You dont know. I dont know. So all it is for any of us here is speculations and opinions. Thats about it.

As amazing as all those links are, I didnt really see any titles pertaining to the car or driver. Or Charlottesville has massively large interrogation rooms to fit everyone in who wrote or was quoted in one of those links you provided. We're not talking about ANTIFA, the KKK/Nazis, Trump, or anyone else. You, nor I, nor anyone in those links you provided was in the interview room when the driver spoke about what went on during. If you'd like to talk on those other tangents, you need to let people know ahead of time. Give a heads up when its deflection time or the "but the Side A did X...which was soooo much more horrible than what Side B did when they did their dirt" justification card gets played. Our original dialogue was about the driver, his car, and what happened over at the accident scene, so I was sticking to the conversation. Im sure if you give me a bit, I can find an equal number of articles talking about just purely racist group misbehavior. Personally I think both sides acted like assholes, but thats just me.

the thing about the news media and gubmint both is that they frame it them as white supremacists and 'counterprotestors' to put alll the hate on the neonazis rather than properly framing it as neonazis supremacists vs neolib ANTIFA supremacists. Prejudice in media by how they spin it as usual.
