I expect all Brits in this forum to start being a lot more pleasant to everyone - lest we be forced to report you to your own CPS and have you brought up on hate crime charges.

In Britain, harsh language is now the same as assault. And the CPS will now be prosecuting opinions.

This is the classic thoughtcrime rationale of the Party. And it is no way hyperbolic to call this Orwellian. It is exactly the realisation of the template laid bare by Orwell in his writings.

I grew up feeling like the Left was more about free speech.

And through my adulthood, I watch the left slowly turn into less about free speech but criminalizing all kinds of speech.

And now, I feel so far away from the left, it's unreal.

I also hold leftism responsible for Charlie Gard's death.

It's not just the Brits who have a notion that better social manners are to purpose of betterment of society and might possibly to cause/effect of evolution.

Intentionally increasing the volume and loudness intensity of either physical or metaphorical or philosophical flatulence is not going to save the day, here, sorry/not sorry to send that one along.

I NEVER understood, even growing up here, how such pride in being ill-mannered and uncultured could ever be a cause celebre.
