My ancestors are from Scotland, Germany, and the Great plains (Sioux) all came here legally. Mexico has no claim against any part of the US.

Keep in mind that in 1834-36 3 Mexican states tried to leave, they were not connect and couldn't co-ordinate. The Tx were not surrounded and threw the Mexicans out. The U S wasn't even taking Mexican territory, they absorbed the independent nation of Texas.
