Not quite. Explosives and guns were Asian inventions. Whites simply improved on the design. So I guess all the evils of explosives or gun violence need to be laid at the feet of the Chinese who came up with them, and not the person of any race who happens to pull the trigger.
I just heard numbers quoted in the news today that 93% of murdered blacks were killed by blacks, and 84% of whites murders are committed by other whites. So there doesn't seem to be much of a race war going on in that sense.
I doubt if a black man shot by a black person cares much in his final moments if the gun used was stolen from a white house, or bought on the streets, or purchased legally. All he knows is that he was killed by a brother.
Actually in an earlier post that pissed all the (sarcasm alert!) "uppity white males" on here off, I mentioned "Every form of bullet firing mass killing machine starting with the Gatling gun. " THAT is what I meant by "guns ARE a white man invention....."

as an example of the way stolen guns are used,...one morning 5 years ago a car was parked across the street from My childhood home,.... as I stopped by the house to visit My 85 yr old mom, a 12 yr old kid walking past the car screams and points at the cars front seat......I ran to the kid and got him away from seeing a white teenager with half his head gone .....come to find out the gun used to kill him and 2 other people came from a suburban gun owners home stolen 2 days prior. the gun was found at the crime scene of the other 2 other murdered people.
google search and u'll find out a large percentage of Black market guns are stolen from home gun owners..... most home gun owners are white....
Yes, I recall that you have it in for the Gatling gun, though I have never been sure exactly why. It was used in the Civil War, but was not used on a widespread basis then because smokeless powder and metal cartridges for it were not developed until after that war.
The lack of metal cartridges meant it had limited range and could be outshot by single fire rifles of the time.
The lack of smokeless powder meant using a Gatling gun created a huge smoke cloud pinpointing its position to snipers.
Also, due to the fact that a Gatling gun had to be mounted on a cannon-like carriage the four operators required had to stand upright during firing, making them relatively easy targets for snipers out of their range.
These factors all combined to make its use and effectiveness very limited during that war.
I wonder why it is that you are so anti-gun specifically. When I was a cadet at the Air Force Academy military history classes were mandatory. One of the things I learned at that time was that the most lethal weapon in history was the Roman broadsword, or Gladius.
That was followed in a close second by spears, which probably had their origin in Africa as there is archeological evidence that spears have been in use since the earliest days of man. I'm sure you are familiar with king David of Israel, who supposedly killed Goliath with a slingshot. Are you aware that he is also credited with having killed over 40,000 men with a sword in hand to hand combat? He may have been the single most effective killer in history. Though that's not surprising since Israel always seems to be under attack.
After spears the next weapon credited with the greatest number of kills is the bomb. Guns only come in at a paltry fourth place, well behind the top three.
But okay, I can see your point that in your neighborhood guns may be the source of most current deaths, the same is true around here. But what I can't understand is how you figure that if a white guy buys a gun and keeps it in his home, and then it is stolen by someone of any race but ends up in the hands of a black man who uses it to kill another black man, how can you place the blame on the white guy who bought it and was robbed?
He wouldn't have been robbed if someone didn't want to use that gun against someone else. And no matter who owned the gun first, in 93% of all black shootings it was a black finger that pulled the trigger. That's not racist, and it's not a white against black problem.
Please don't argue that if the white guy hadn't bought the gun then it wouldn't be available for a black man to shoot another. If a person of any race wants to kill another he'll find a way, even without a gun. Or are you arguing that black people are not clever enough to figure out how to kill unless somehow a former white man's gun is placed in their hand? I give you credit for being smart enough to see the absurdity of that notion.
People have been killing one another throughout human history, whether of the same race or if different races. They have developed a great many weapons to use for that. Take away any one of those weapons and people will simply find another to use. Personally, I can think of dozens of ways to kill without a gun if I was so inclined. I'm guessing most people of any race could. Your argument that blacks wouldn't be killing one another without white mens' guns sells the ingenuity of blacks in general short. I am completely confident that if whites didn't keep guns to be stolen, that blacks are clever and smart enough to find other methods. When I was in the military and we had to improvise some kind of weapons, it was often the black guys in the unit who came up with the first or best idea. I doubt that has changed in the time since.
The only effective solution to violence of any kind against one another is to develop a culture where people no longer feel the need to kill each other. Removing one kind of weapon only means the substitution of another until then.
