The problem wasn't that cops kept killing unarmed people, but that the media made such a fuss of it.


The cop was sick of being demonized, not even for what other people did but for what people pretended they did.

Because if they had an obligation to protect people from the crime in the first place
they would have to know when and where it would happen. I don't think people

That's there's not a "legal" mission doesn't mean they don't have a mission to protect.

Status: offline 		Nope. Pointing out a point that got skipped over. Why do you see making points as an "attack"? Is truth and reality such a threat that you take the truth and reality personally?

I'm under no legal mission to do more than required by contract to serve my customers. Yet I do it for every customer. So do a lot of businesses, because extraordinary service is part of our mission -- that it's not legally required isn't the point.

Likewise, most (and probably all) police departments have as part of their mission to protect and serve. That it may not be a legal requirement is irrelevant, as it doesn't mean they don't strive to do it or that they don't consider it crucial to their duty.

That's the "personal attack" and "Trolling" you're whining about. And yes, basic logic would have shown you that.

Thanks for re-affirming my point.
