I missed that, but it is conspicuous that these hurricanes always seem to hit red states during republican presidencies without anybody on the religious right insisting that they're a moral punishment for allowing sodomy in a state that's mostly democrat like 11/9 was, isn't it?

Contrary to the liberal media hysterics, Rush Limbaugh did not call hurricane Irma a hoax. Limbaugh was asserting that the alarm about "catastrophic" Florida damage was media hype to create fear and panic. He never claimed the storm was a hoax or that it could not do extreme damage. He was commenting on the unrealistic connections made by the left between this hurricane and "climate change."

In the context of all the hyper critical response in the liberal media to their own changed versions of Limbaugh's remarks, I would say he had a point

That's not what was said. What was said was that the media is tying their hyperbolic adjectives together with climate change to insert the "correctness" of their assertions in their believers' brains.
