ORIGINAL: jlf1961 The point is that in order to get a maximum effect from the video, they chose to film the one area that would show complete and udder devastation, a mobile home park. I have friends living in Naples, and they were the ones that brought it to my attention, basically saying that if you went by that footage, you would believe the entire town was flattened, which is not the case, in point of fact, that while the damage is bad, it is not near as bad as that clip implies. Basically some roof damage, minor structural damage and a lot of water damage, but not complete devastation. In other words, the producer who decided to use that footage picked a location to get maximum effect and imply that things were worse than they really are. Obviously, they're not going to film places that weren't trashed. They will focus on the damage... I don't think that means they're being dishonest. They aren't claiming that thousands of people are dying or there is 'devastation' in places that didn't suffer damage. It's still a story, even if it wasn't the terrible tragedy it had the potential to become. To the south of the US, people weren't so lucky. But if a hurricane should hit Bowling Green, it won't even be mentioned by the evil liberal media, will it?
