I guess that depends on what her goals were in taking her kid there and then addressing people she already knew are racist scum and were likely to say something offensive in front of her kid. If she did it hoping for a photo shoot, then she wasn't that stupid after all. A lousy mother, but not stupid. If on the other hand she really didn't understand what she might be exposing her child to, then ya, she was an idiot.

The line you are quoting is from the NBC article, Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists ate NOT mentioned in the resolution. It speaks against hate groups and violence, something that seems to include Antifa and BLM.

The same way walking into a room full of atheists knowing their beliefs, or in this case disbeliefs, and stating your going to pray for them or walking into a vegetarian restaurant and pulling a steak out of your bag is a taunt. unless you are totally clueless you know you are probably going to start shit, that's why you did it in the first place.

She knew they were racist scum and how they felt about african americans but she still went and said something that she had to have known would get a reaction. The fact that she took her 13yr old along when she had to know it might get ugly makes me sad.

The link I posted was talking about the resolution much like this thread. I'm sorry you didn't think to look past the one in the op. If you had perhaps you wouldn't have been confused about which group it was referring to.

nope, the ones are the far right are never going to vote for a democrat even if they have to hold their nose while the vote for the clown, but there are some out there who agree with his politics but didn't support his lack of condemnation of racist scum, so at this point he might even be building it a bit.


I didn't say they were going to vote for a democrat.

Your illustration doesn't hold water.

You give two examples where what is said or done is a direct attack on what they believe and then imply that wishing the Nazis peace is some how a direct attack on what they believe and far I know that is not so.

Now if Lucylastic had asked how what the woman did was a taunt then your Illustration would work because just going up to them, being an African American would in a way be a taunt but Lucylastic didn't ask that, she asked how "wishing someone peace" was a taunt and your Illustration doesn't address that and thus doesn't work.

First, depending on the child, 13yrs old is not all that young, some at 13 can be very mature.

Next, perhaps knowing what her child is going to have to live with, she was showing her child an example how to deal with the hatred with bravery and kindness.

A PC rewording of the tweet Trump sent out right after the Charlottesville car attack gets misinterpreted as being against white supremacists instead of the lambasting the racial hate from both sides. As written it applies to the American Nazis, Antifa, and BLM equally.
