Status: offline 		I used to have a photo or two with my profile.  I even kept them updated every six months or so.  ....  I removed the pic's when I removed the text to keep the clueless from bugging the hell out of me while I take a break.  ....  I've been getting the itch again to rewrite my profile and when I do I will most likely include a pic.  ... Now to figure out how to write the perfect profile that detracts the clueless!

Status: offline 		you know the funny thing about pics?  i had one up since day one...and maybe got one or two e-mails from it....so i had more taken, with the newest one being a more traditional submissive look on my face <been told the other ones where a bit off putting> and bam, emails....i don't mind having it up, its nice to put a picture to the words.

Status: offline 		I have a few pics up just 'cause I happened to feel like putting them up there.  If my Master told me to take them down or change them I would but so far he hasn't commented on them.  *smiles* Sir, however, seemed impressed that I had them up there.

There isn't really any clear facial shots of me since I am a single parent who doesn't need or want my family learning about her lifestyle before I am ready to come out to them... I must admit that I have a bit of a fear of my mother possibly trying to take my daughter from me to "save" her.  Did I ever mention that my mother is literally a church warden??  I've managed so far to admit that I'm bisexual and not be disowned... but the polyamorous slave is going to take some time...

The recent "Outed To A Friend" post might explain it. On the other hand, there are all the "fake picture" threads... 

I have pictures, of sorts, as part of my profile. Anybody that knows my wardrobe would recognize me, so my hat and dark glasses aren't risk free, lol. But though I'm as nosy as the next person, I don't think one can base any justifiable conclusions about an individual on whether their profile has a picture or not.

Status: offline 		I uploaded one and it was regected for showing too little. I'm one of those people who don't want to take a chance on having a vindictive person do something horrible to me.

I also don't want to find my photo used on sites without my permission. Funny how easy it is for some people to use another's likeness as their own.

My photo was rejected, I cannot remember the exact wording - but the idea was that it was not a clear pic of my face, partially hidden. Of course that was BEFORE they started putting ads on the site. I have noticed a lot of facially obscured pics on since then.

I may try again sometime...who knows?

Status: offline 		I don't have one because I, like others, have a rather conservative job with a reasonably high public profile.  Consequently, I'm not keen on every Tom, Dick & Harry knowing that I have a kinky side.
 
Plus, if I want someone to know what I look like, I'll email them a pic.

Some of us have had bad experiences where people have sent our photos on these sites to the CEO of our businesses out of some jealous rage.  Perhaps others have their own reasons but a lot of us live in tiny towns where any word of this gets out we will lose our job, home and family.

Yes, that's true, but it assumes if they're "here" they're also curious, openminded, or practicing.  Sorry to remind, but partners of cheating spouses can find breadcrumbs and check out a site, and what's the first thing they'll do if they're computer savvy?  Do a search for all locals within say, 50 miles to find not only thier wayward spouse, but any possible accomplices.

OMG, there's our sons math teacher!  that bitch!  ::: print profile, run to school board ::: "  It matters not that there is no suggestion wayward spouse and math teacher ever interracted, it's just a place to focus some anger.

Most people who are outted are outted by a prior lifestyle partner who went pissy, or by the pissed-off friends or partners of lifestylers.

Status: offline 		*bounce* I have no qualms with having my picture up.  I think it's nice for people to have some idea of what I look like.  Of course they are GOOD pics  lol .. which can be a little misleading, as I don't wander around the house in black and white whilst looking all demure.  Er like now .. tracksuit pants, wet hair and PJ top .. HAWT!

Status: offline 		Think about this....if you are in a position where having a photo of yourself on a site like this could cost you (job or community respect), when someone finds it and rats you out, the defense of "yes, but what were YOU doing on that site" won't really bother the people who are looking to bring you down.  It's merely a diversion, kind of like when your kids defend themselves against incriminating evidence you found in their room by saying "you shouldn't have been in my room."
