First, the OP makes it a racial issue, clearly. Then you make it to be a trans-gender issue in subsequent posts. So, which is it? You have already defended the notion that if cops are inept and clueless, and are really scared and don't belong in the position in the first place, just fire away. So no one is quite seeing your point, here. Are you saying the untrained cop was justified in the murder, or not? Justified because he supposedly 'came at him,' or justified because because he was trans-sexual? Or not justified because he was white, as per your OP? No, I was right the first time. You claim than nobody cared until you brought it to our attention, from which we can only assume that you care more about white trans-sexuals wielding plastic than you do about completely unarmed black guys. "Justified" police killings happen on a weekly basis in this big country. That's why this one wasn't national news. Killing of unarmed people is what's been making way too much headline news for a supposedly 'civilized country' these past few years.

You also missed me criticizing the school for not providing the cops with thins like tasers. You are so consistent , you are never right. Why did you pull a knife on a cop? The he came back with a different name but I have gotten to much information about his life for it to be a different person. Do others find it odd that police depts are equipped with armoured personnel carriers and other military equipment but don't appear to be equipped with non-lethal means of keeping the peace and enforcing the law in situations like this? Looking at the footage I have to credit the cop at the top of the frame for backing away, but I agree there should be other hardware options available to the police as you and others have suggested. The kid was clearly told to drop the knife but for some psychologically unexplained reason he did not and he kept advancing. And most unfortunately, the cops only had guns. No non-lethal weapons of choice. I can't fault them for failing to charge him, even with night sticks, but this scene calls for a nationwide attempt to develop protocol for dealing with mentally off course people. I am very confident that President Trump will call for a conference on this topic soon. [8\|]
