AKA Rocket Man.

I think that was pretty clever of Trump to call him that... lol

I found it funny, too. However, I don't know that he was the one that decided on the name. It was likely a staffer, imo.

More likely a MI5 code name.

Okay, if that's the case, I can see Trump using it, and all the people at MI5 collectively slapping their heads now that Trump outed a codename.

I don't think Elton John has ever done a Bond theme, has he?

Actually articles of impeachment were filed against the 2nd Bush and he wasn't hated half as much as Trump is.
Just look at the OP

I caught a few minutes of fox news (oh no comrades!) showing liberal media figures commenting on trumps recent speeches concerning north korea. Lawrence odonnell was practically apoplectic and the fox news person showing the clips said "if everythings at an 11, then nothing is."

found some goods:

"ABC News Reporter: Trump's North Korea Remarks At UN Bordered On Committing A War Crime"

quote:

It’s just so nice that the liberal media feels compelled to defend North Korea. I mean I heard the nation is a paradise. It’s so utopic that if you disagree in any way, you get beaten, tortured, or killed. The utopia is that fragile. Of course, the country is none of that. It’s a communist hellhole, with an insane man at the helm. It’s one of the worst offenders of human rights, but we all have to criticize President Trump’s remarks at the United Nations yesterday. Here’s the part that ABC News’ Martha Raddatz and Terry Moran felt was problematic:

quote:

The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea. Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime. The United States is ready, willing and able, but hopefully this will not be necessary. That’s what the United Nations is all about; that’s what the United Nations is for. Let’s see how they do.

It is time for North Korea to realize that the denuclearization is its only acceptable future. The United Nations Security Council recently held two unanimous 15-0 votes adopting hard-hitting resolutions against North Korea, and I want to thank China and Russia for joining the vote to impose sanctions, along with all of the other members of the Security Council. Thank you to all involved.

To Raddatz, this is a serious threat that could cost a great loss of life if hostilities resume on the peninsula. To Moran, this is pretty much a war crime (via Joe Concha):

quote:

Moran, who serves as ABC's chief foreign correspondent, provided his perspective to anchor George Stephanopoulos as ABC cut into regular programming for a special report.

"Terry, if you read the president’s words, he said the conditions for totally destroying North Korea would be if forced to defend ourselves and our allies," said Stephanopoulos. "You can read that possibly to even open up a justification for preventative war against North Korea."

Moran responded, "That is a potential justification, but the words totally destroying a nation of 25 million people, that borders on the threat of committing a war crime."

Trump is a liar, a sexist, a racist, and now a potential war criminal. As Katie noted yesterday, Obama also said the same thing, but there was no condemnation. Besides being really, really slow on honoring FOIA requests and cracking down on leakers, both are big deals concerning transparency, Obama got a free pass. Even CNN’s Jake Tapper admitted that the former president said falsehoods during his time in office, but the friendly media usually let him slide; Trump not so much. Everything he says sends the whole industry into psycho, meltdown mode. And that’s not going to relent any time soon.

Hmmm, We haven't done a joint operation with the Chinese Military since WWII. Maybe we should let the Chinese into SEATO. <evil grin>

I'd live to be there when stuffy Chinese officers get a load of Aussie submariners. (Damn good sailors but total mainiacs on the beach.) A few films of LCACS deploying on a beach after a thermobaric bombardment to sterilize it might have some reality check factor.

Well, it seems that Kimmy J is so afraid of Trump that he made fun of him publicly and now is going to test a nuclear weapon in the Pacific Ocean.
He actually called him a 'dotard'.

These two were made for each other, but I honestly think that Trump is going to lose this battle of words.

Which is pretty feeble when you consider which of the two speaks English as their first language, isn't it?

Don't call it for KJU just yet! Remember, Trump told us all he knows words, and has the best words during the campaign.
