How can we discuss it when, most likely, we don't have all the facts?

That doesn't stop you speculating about other poster's personal lives, so why is it a problem in a political discussion?

Well if you're all going to hold me accountable, shouldn't you hold yourselves accountable as well?

Try holding el presidente accountable.

How can we make any judgements on Trump when we don't have all the facts?

The same way you make judgements about Lucy and Jeff, obviously.

Well, we can't be doing that now. I mean, unless y'all are hypocrites.

You're proving my point for me, but as everybody already knows that you're a lying two-faced little shit with no more moral or intellectual integrity than a dysentry amoeba, that's a bit redundant.
What are you doing in this thread when you refuse point blank to pay any attention to the topic that's supposedly under discussion?

How can we even have a thread about this? So many people here, lucy included, making judgements against Trump when they don't have all the facts.

Actually on topic, (even if it is an excuse to ignore the topic). Well done!

Drakvampire -> RE: Trump's Response to Devastation in Puerto Rico: Wait, What?! (10/1/2017 2:01:35 PM)

You had pictures up? Did anyone catch them at all or would it require a tonne of drugs for that tale to become almost believable (obviously after a complete lobotomy as it is important to nail down the facts and not made up events from a mental, unwanted, headcase off ill repute)?

They say the howling mad fukity called boscox can catch a screaming hot jobbie from 50 yards away, and then he gobbles it all up, laughing, and screams for more filth from his mums hovel basement.

So I heard. Is this true?

Actually, I want you to put your picture back up so everyone will know that you're just insecure, probably from being bullied about your face and body.
It might actually humanize your inherent shittiness.

I doubt anyone would forgive you, but at least they might feel sorry for you instead of despising you.
Or maybe that's worse... I don't know.

Facts, tamaka started the personal attacks with hers on lucy.

Second, the time line of Trump's response to the crisis in Puerto Rico is public knowledge.

Sept. 20th Maria hits Puerto Rico
Sept. 21st American Red Cross and other non government agencies begin relief efforts.
First reports of the devastation come out of Puerto Rico, from reporters and HAM radio operators working with local emergency response personnel, including news footage.
First requests for immediate relief made to FEMA and US government
Sept. 22 Trump tweets about the Puerto Rico debt to Wall Street and various government agencies, while pointing out the out of date water and electric grid.
Sept 23 President Trump plays a round of golf, spends periods of the weekend tweeting about NFL player disrespect

Sept. 25 holds FIRST cabinet meeting to discuss the crisis in Puerto Rico (five days AFTER the storm)
Sept. 29 Orders USS Comfort to Puerto Rico, nine days after the power had been knocked out to hospitals and fuel for generators running low.

Funny thing President Obama was crucified on this board for his slow response to Hurricane Sandy, and he had a cabinet meeting on the problems within 24 hours of the storm's passing!

President Bush put an Army General in charge of the Katrina response four days after the storm after hearing how FEMA was fucking up.

Now, if Obama was wrong for not having a cabinet meeting about Sandy within hours of the storm passing, how in the fuck is President Trump remotely handling this properly if he waited a full five fucking days before holding a crisis cabinet meeting? And that is not even mentioning the fact that he felt that he could work in a round of fucking golf?

You have a retired Army general, the same guy that took over the Katrina response referring to Trump's handling of the crisis and the FEMA director's as well as Bullshit.

All the facts, the facts are public knowledge.

The simple fact that here is that the President waited too long to fucking do anything and you people are giving him a pass. Bush was vilified by both sides of the aisle for waiting three days to get a competent person in charge of Katrina.

Obama for not having a crisis meeting immediately after the first reports of Sandy's impact.

Yeah, very few people died as a direct result of the storm, but seriously, with the assets and abilities of the non combat military personnel at the President's disposal, he could have had all the airports on the island handling even C130's, and if they could not land for whatever reason, those same crews could have airdropped personnel and light construction equipment to clear runways and get the place operational within hours.

Hell they had a destroyed Baghdad airport operational in less than six, and that included filling in bomb cratered runways.

Now, how in the fuck can anyone say the job is being handled well when the assets that could make it possible to get supplies to all parts of the island from 8 other fucking airports have not been utilized.

And the fact is that the highest scoring unit for that job is still sitting at the base 12 miles from my house wondering the same damn thing. Hell the group commander has had them on standby since fucking storm.

Top White House official lashes out at media coverage of Trump's Puerto Rico response

quote:

White House Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert on Thursday defended the Trump administration's response to the devastation that Hurricane Maria has wrought on Puerto Rico, blaming media coverage for skewing perception.

Speaking with reporters outside the White House, Bossert said the media was distorting the federal government's actions to respond to the hurricane, which made landfall last week and became the most powerful storm to hit the island in almost 90 years.

"I understand the coverage, in some cases, is giving the appearance that we aren't moving fast enough," Bossert said.

He reiterated that getting resources to the island — where 3.4 million people have been left without power, and water and food are scarce — was difficult, saying there's "an understandable degree of devastation on the island."

"We are mobilizing and marshaling the resources of the United States of America in a way that is absolutely professional, fast, and adequate to meet the needs," Bossert said...

For his part, Trump has dismissed questions about whether he was too preoccupied to focus on hurricane relief.

"I've heard that before about was I preoccupied," Trump said. "Not at all. Not at all. I have plenty of time on my hands. All I do is work. And to be honest with you, that's an important function of working. It's called respect for our country."

of course that's not nearly as much fun as bashing the president is it?

"You're a joke" isn't a personal attack?

Never said it wasnt, I just pointed out that you started the bullshit with your statements concerning lucy.

So, I guess you are allowed to attack another user but are immune from attack yourself?

If that is your thought process, then "You're a joke" no longer qualifies as a personal attack, but as a fact of your existence.

Of course, it fits with the ideology that while it is perfectly okay to attack a dem president for slow response but not okay to attack a GOP president who took five fucking days to hold a cabinet meeting on the crisis in Puerto Rico.

Funny thing, President Bush openly admitted he fucked up with his initial handling of the Katrina response, after realizing the man that he had in charge initially was not getting the job done.

And that was within four days of the storm's passing.

It was nine days before Trump authorized or ordered the navy to send a hospital ship (which actually does not dock in a harbor, but lays offshore with patients ferried out by helicopter.)

Now when you consider that the US Military has been involved in humanitarian crisis response operations for a couple of decades, and while some of the more experienced may have retired, there are still some senior officers who know enough to tell him, "Mr President we need to do _______ now."

The man that took over the Katrina response calls his response bullshit.

Members of his own party have questioned his actions regarding the crisis.

So, at this point, why is it that with the situation, cant some of the die hard Trump supporters admit, he may have not done a good job, and fucked up.

This story is rather interesting.
