That's what I call balls!

Anyway, it's amusing to me that the whole world is bullying Myammar over the Rohingyas now, but as I always said, China has been persecuting Muslims since the beginning of time, and all these groups are silent about China, because nobody can touch China at the moment.

But China came very close to what I want done with the Quran, except, this is too heavy handed.

Keep the Quran, just officially force every copy of Quran to have a "Parental Advisory" Sticker on the cover, to state that teachings in there are vile and reprehensible, please read at your risk.

This is much better than confiscating Qurans and persecuting the Muslims who have them.

Let them have their Quran. Who cares! I care more about having the truth about the Quran advertised on their covers, and hell, distributed them to everyone!

This seems to be very thin evidence on which to hang such a big claim.

The evidence seems to consist of a claim by a leading political Muslim Ugyhur opponent of the central Chinese Govt that a "notification" making certain demands was made upon Muslim Ugyhurs. There is no claim that the reporter has seen the notification, or any other independent confirmation of the existence, let alone the veracity of the claim. The notification was allegedly distributed via an app yet no screen shot of the message was published, despite the widespread easy availability of screen shot technology. The claim was initially made on highly partisan radio station, a US Govt-funded anti communist hangover from the Cold War, not the most reliable or reputable of sources.

In other words, the report, its content, the people making the claim and the media broadcasting the claim are all partisan and suspect. None of the above inspires confidence in the report's accuracy.

So, until independent confirmation of the claim becomes available, it would seem prudent to with hold judgement on the claim

Therefore only foreign propaganda is reliable?
No, Greta... it doesn't work that way.

Are you actually saying it's all a lie that China is persecuting Muslims?

So when China does it. It's false. But when Myammar does it. It's true.

I am saying that even if a country has a poor track record, you shouldn't automatically assume that every horrible thing that someone else says about them is true.
I didn't say I knew whether it was true or false.

I have the feeling this is going to be difficult for you to grasp.

Even a cursory glance at my post will reveal that all I did was to question the reliability and accuracy of the evidence Greta's claims relied upon. I made no comment on the actual claims themselves. I most certainly didn't advance anything that was either pro- or anti- the Chinese govt or "communist lefties".

Any such claims are entirely in your head and your head alone, a product of your febrile, notoriously unreliable, looney Right imagination. You really need to either up your meds or do something to improve your reading comprehension. Losing your ideological blinkers would be a good place to start.

Gosh,

This is one of those cases where I hate both sides of the issue… but I hate censorship more. Unfortunately, it seems that censors (after SJWs) seem to have the worst grasp of how censorship works, which is about as well as prohibition in general.

I agree about the censorship part.

also, if there is a Christian parallel to be found in islam, most every time the church is persecuted, it grows stronger.
