Hillary is the equivalant of Freddy Kruger to the GOP. If you pull out everything you've got, maybe you can beat them, but there's always another fucking sequel.
A nice metaphor. I was sort of hoping she'd take a hint from last year and fuck off, though. She now knows that Steppin Fetchit is more electable than she is, so maybe the penny will finally drop.
She should have taken the hint from '08. My grievances with HRC aren't much different than what Republicans would say, on a personal level. Politically, I think she's completely out of touch with real people, and lacks a true vision for progress, aside from incremental; which doesn't mean a damn thing, is impossible to accomplish while the GOP runs Congress, and is far too easily rolled back. I don't trust her as a person, and her stances on policies are too shifty, going with public opinion rather than what's right.
Seriously, being out of touch with real people and lacking a true vision for progress is an issue with her getting elected when you look at the creature from the black latrine currently stinking up the oval office?
As for '08, she didn't get the nomination, and thought she could have won like the oreo did, if she had. Hopefully last year's election has cured her of that notion, but as you say, it never does to overestimate these people.
