The author never said a thing about only women victims and only male perpetrators. Correct me if I'm wrong. Weinstein is a male and so far, all of the victims are female. If by some holy grail Weinstein ever gets prosecuted, the defense strategy of 'women do it, too' isn't going far.

No. The point is victims don't become victims all on their own. Weinstein's victims wouldn't have been victims had Weinstein not been a predator. Had Weinstein been gay, his victims would have been male.

Yes, that's right. Because who gives a shit about violence against men, amirite? Despite the fact that men are much greater victims of violence than women are, it's all about the women, because the dear, precious, sweet little things are much more valuable than men.
Are you holding some kind of secret intel that Weinstein was also sexually harassing men? How many of Weinstein's male employees were being duped to coming to hotel rooms under the guise of business meetings so Weinstein could offer massages or would they watch him shower naked?

If there is any male pain about the Weinstein case, it's probably from the male employees of his company who knew what Weinstein was doing all of those years and they didn't say anything. Instead of doing the right thing, they chose the job, the bonuses, and the prestige. They signed those non-disclosure agreements, so if they (the "everybody knew" employees) feel bad about it now, I'm not going to say don't have a guilty conscious.
Weinstein's pain? Couldn't care less. Personally, I think he did it and "it" spanned decades.
