I have not read through the thread yet, but the joke he tells is:

David Coppa-feel.

My guess is that at one point he realized where his limitations were having his hand end up and so he used the joke to cover the awkwardness. At this point he has dementia and vascular something or other. So it really is a . . meh.

If anything, I'd be concerned about the stress and embarrassment of the allegations affecting Bush's health.

It seems like his thing is groping women and then making light of it.

I know HW's public image is really wholesome, but mega-rich people are almost always really fucking weird and politicians are great at hiding who they really are.

93, severe arthritis, vascular Parkinson's, dementia, has had several bouts of pneumonia, wheelchair bound, blockage removed from lung. . .

I am not so sure that anything can damage his health more at this point, short of death.

The sad fact is, dementia causes people to loose their "filters," and so yeah, you are going to hear some inappropriate things. Getting old can be rather tough. I wonder how all these people treating HW Bush so poorly over this, want to be treated when get older. Compassion is more in order here, than derision and accusations.

He isnt pretending to be senile, he IS living with dementia.
He isnt pretending to need a wheelchair, he NEEDS one to be able to get around due to health and mobility issues

Particularly coming from somebody who seems to be sexually attracted to a senile and clearly demented walking heart attack: when el presidente's medical event* takes place, he'll be lucky to end up wheelchair bound, rather than being banished to an iron lung, put it that way.
(Apart from anything else, they'd have trouble finding a wheelchair the flabby orange shitehawk would fit into, wouldn't they)

*(like an extinction event but on a personal rather than species level and usually self inflicted)

Status: offline 		Im more liberal thinking...and I think making an issue of an elderly man suffering from dementia is sad and ridiculous. I myself feel that his internal filter eroded away with the onset of dementia. I worked in a nursing home for a year and my ass was groped on a monthly basis.

The difference is that it wasnt a big deal to me in all honesty. I honestly never felt sexually harassed or abused in any way. I found it far more sad that the folks who did it are losing everything...their health, their hold on their own mental faculties failing, being stuck in a wheelchair being cared for instead of being able to cate for themselves.

I think you are missing the point that he has a history of making jokes and patting women's butt EVEN before he was old and in a wheelchair. Now more women pre-wheelchair days are also coming out to share their story.

As I said, his wife was noted to react like he has done this many times and she was disapproving of it!

It's prejudice to give men excuses of being old and on a wheelchair and senile as an excuse for them to grope women.

It's almost like, I will have to stay away from every man in a wheel chair now IF being on a wheel chair gives ALL of them a hall pass to grope my ass!
