So, CNN reporters had ties to Fusion GPS and failed to disclose them (according to the Daily Caller!)

Therefore, Mueller charged Manafort, Gates, and Popadopoulous????

Omitted from your examination of the ties linking Fusion GPS and CNN operativesreporters is a crucial piece of information that proves beyond any doubt the malignant conspiracy between these parties:

Occasionally they go to baseball games together

I'm sure you will agree that this important revelation seals the deal with irrefutable finality. It is the icing on the cake, the kind of thing only liberal purveyors of fake news would do ... no red blooded American would allow themselves to be caught in such conpromising circumstances, would they? I mean really it just couldn't be any clearer or more obvious, could it?

All kidding aside, any CNN reporter with ties to Fusion GPS founders who reported on the story simply should have handed off the story to another reporter.

Point taken.

1. What about all the other media outlets who are reporting on the story, that have NO ties to Fusion GPS?
2. What does this have to do with Mueller?
3. Also, the criticism of Jake Tapper's factual description of the dossier as being "soft" is rather ridiculous.

Yes your questions are pertinent.

There is also another aspect to this, a more general and far sadder one:

Some people swallow this palpable nonsense hook line and sinker and it becomes an article of faith for them. It grows into a belief so firmly entrenched that it is unshakeable and any evidence to the contrary is dismissed as "fake news" and liberal lies. It resounds around the echo chamber increasing in intensity and fervour until we see the Boscos Nancys and other RWNJs of this world insisting to all and sundry that this kind of arrant falsehood is true. The truly sad bit is that they really don't understand why others refuse to accept what is to them an obvious 'truth'.

They create the impression that these people are inhabiting a kind of alternative universe where adherence to their ideological values assumes such an importance that it becomes the sole filter through which the world is interpreted. People like Bosco, Nancy and the other sad looney Right posters provide constant evidence of how life inside the echo chamber carries on in blithe disregard of any reality that the rest of us experience creating a unique 'reality' that they and they alone experience.

Apparently, the staid tried and true right wing has ties to Fusion GPS, they originated the oppo research that was resold to the democrats.
Looks like Faux and Townhall is untrustworthy Fake News now. (oh no, comrades!)

The right had nothing to do with the fake dossier

However, beside CNN... Obama's FBI (his entire administration) pimped it

Mueller charged Popadopoulous with the same "crime" that his close personal friend Jim Comey charged Martha Stewart with

None of the charges have anything to do with the mantra that has been sending you into howling mad convulsions for months - "Trump!!! Rusia!!!" [sm=runaway.gif]

Have a look for Clovis....he spoke to mueller a while ago.
Martha had nothing to do with the trump campaign.
Pappad does. or rather did....

So now you are off-topic on your off-topic...

What exactly does this have to to with a CNN reporter fishing with a Fusion GPS founder????

And... off-topic again...

Back to the bombshells, covered many posts ago.

Mueller is in the middle of an investigation / prosecution. He isn't interested in bombshells. Information leaks out drip by drip.

For example, we now know that one of Manafort's partners in DMP (and had access to his bank accounts) is a Russian national.

Bombshell? no... Just another piece of info.

The fact that Sam Clovis testified before the Grand Jury could be huge. We'll see.

So, if you want to post off-topic Daily Caller articles about LITERAL fishing expeditions (couldn't resist), and then go off-topic on your original off-topic and say no bombshells, just wet duds.... Go right ahead.

:)

There is no fake dossier, that which has been corroborated so far has turned out to be 100% accurate.

And of course, your factlessness, ignorance, and disinformation is famous.

And bounty44, as is usual, you have been shown to be a factless propagandist of the highest order.

LMAO, such a sad, confused child. A perfect little example of intellectual dishonesty. Very ardent only at wanting someone to like her she'll agree with anything as long as she's one of the gang. I do believe she'd throw the first stone at a Muslim woman.

quote:

“It’s quite obvious that Mueller is playing this out very skillfully,” Akerman explained. “First of all that [Manafort] indictment is a slam-dunk, as I said before, it’s proven by documents. But then you look at the Papadopoulos one that they put under seal all of this time.”
“He’s pled guilty, pled guilty to a felony, lying to the FBI,” Akerman continued. “He’s basically, if you looked through his allocution, you have allocute. They don’t name names, it’s against Justice Department policy to do that. But he refers to campaign officials, other officials — it’s very obvious he has information on lots of people and on top of that, he’s been cooperating since July.
“If I were the prosecutor, and I guarantee you Robert Mueller has done this, he’s had him out there wearing a body wire, playing dial-a-crook on the phone, trying to get recorded conversations to use as evidence against other people,” he asserted. “If I were the other people, and they know who they are in that information, I’d be extremely nervous right now.”

Now we learn that the Clinton-Kaine campaign and the Democratic National Committee went far beyond allowing one random visit. They apparently paid over $12 million to the law firm Perkins Coie, in part to gather salacious rumors from many Russians in the so-called Steele Dossier. It appears that President Obama’s committee, Obama for America, contributed as well.

The payments for the dossier were made by Perkins Coie lawyer, Marc Elias, to Fusion GPS who hired Steele. Elias then sat before Congress alongside his client, Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, as Podesta claimed he knew nothing about such payments.

Democrats in the House heard the testimony. And who is their lawyer? Marc Elias of Perkins Coie, who represents the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

Democrats in the Senate will review the matter, and who is their lawyer? Marc Elias of Perkins Coie, who represents the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

The use of Russian ads on Facebook will be part of the hearings. And who has been Facebook’s lawyer to prevent the disclosure of such ads? Marc Elias of Perkins Coie.

The FBI may have acted improperly by relying on the dossier’s salacious rumors to launch secret FISA surveillance on Trump and his team, even as it overlooked the potentially improper transfer of 20 percent of all American uranium reserves into Russian hands under Obama-Clinton. And who will review if the FBI acted properly? Robert Mueller, who ran the FBI.

badgerfur -> RE: First charges filed in Mueller investigation (11/1/2017 10:31:24 AM)

wonder if the democrats will do as good a job as the republican special counsel is doing under the guidance of a republican attorney general in coordination with the republican led FBI on investigating corrupt republicans, under the unwatchful and unhinged eye of a republican-russian president?

I think the senate is still republican, but no part of government will be republican much longer, there will be so many republican convicts that no republicans can vote.

Its a shame you didnt post the entire thing for context.

PS The campaign knew about the "hacked DNC emails" long before the dossier steele was working on was published. Before Jrs visit with the ruskies.

badgerfur -> RE: First charges filed in Mueller investigation (11/1/2017 10:51:46 AM)

All of these are only potentially potential in a drowning factless propaganda right wing sort of way.

Nine agencies gave a thumbs up to the Uranium one deal, and the President approved it. None of that uranium can leave our country.

We are not told how much the rightwingers paid Fusion for this research prior to the democrats, since they were the ones who initiated this deal.

There is no evidence that Manafort was investigated by the FBI because Don got pissed on by some russian whores.

The link is there. Since all you ever can contribute is other's links, providing context from the link shouldn't be hard for you.

oh, dear.

bounty44 -> RE: First charges filed in Mueller investigation (11/1/2017 3:51:11 PM)

from your own link fool:

quote:

Free Beacon editor-in-chief Matthew Continetti and chairman Michael Goldfarb said in a statement that the publication had retained Fusion GPS to "provide research on multiple candidates in the [2016] Republican presidential primary," as well as Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton.

Continetti and Goldfarb denied that the Free Beacon "had contact with, knowledge of, or provided payment for any work performed by Christopher Steele," the former British spy who compiled the now-infamous Trump-Russia dossier.

opposition research isn't the issue. the fake dossier is the issue and the former, done by republicans did not turn into the latter.

meanwhile, go ahead, like ive said to others, and make a POINT BY POINT "corroboration of the dossier...

or you could just get off the forums and seriously get the help you need.
