That's me.

Here for your own purpose. As you like to think.

Saves you the trouble of actually having to think about what was said.

Lucylastic -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 1:55:40 AM)

Not factual...your spiteful attacks on posters in this thread before claiming "poor me", is my reasoning, it negates all your strawmen and pathetic attempt to claim the "higher ground" by moving goalposts.
Its happened a lot here lately, its sickening.

Edwird -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 2:50:00 AM)

I didn't move any goal posts, quit your projecting. Along with projection of your spiteful nature, while we're at it.

If you think that presenting fact, and yes it is fact, that some here have it that those who died in uniform are to be held in higher regard than those who gave of themselves to better purpose, then sit with your comforter in that endeavor.

Lucylastic -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 3:04:02 AM)

My spitefulness doesnt drop to the level of attacking posters dead or sick family especially children. Never has, never will.
Changing the goalposts again with a strawman isnt going to change your rancidness.
now im done. I have work to do.

Edwird -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 3:07:41 AM)

You GO! girl!

Edwird -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 3:12:15 AM)

So, present for the audience here where I "attacked" anybody.

Defending one's self against idiocy is not an "attack" just so you know.

Some of us have better, even deeper, sense of family and society than others, so there's that.

Family before Army; selfish me. Selfish brother, who died in real service to others.

Not for a fucking oil company, thank God, but for his neighbors, who all cried and conveyed numerous good stories about what he did for them (and there were many) when he passed on.

I got agree with OP that, all these red tape is ridiculous.

His kidney will save his son's life.

This is the type of shit where someone needs to Tweet to Trump to intervene!

I mean, we are all operating out of different countries, but in my country, this dude just needs to take this directly to the Prime Minister's office. The whole country will understand IF any special arrangement needed to make sure he does this kidney transplant on time for his child before going back to serve his sentence again.

I have full confidence that our PM would be alarm by this case and take action! Probably because we are gonna become an extinct species and every new child's life is precious.

This is one of those stupid situations. Like Charlie Gard. Fuckin' government just wanna kill babies.

It's the father who's jeopardised his child, not the government, Greta.
As I keep pointing out, all the sorry little turd had to do was keep his nose clean until the transplant had taken place. He wasn't willing to do that, and his trying to make out that the hospital or the probation services are responsible are for the transplant not taking place at the start of last month, rather than accepting the blame himself is repulsive.

So ok, the transplant team wants to make sure the father is able to stay out of jail for a while, and that likely has more to do with his recovery after the surgery.

that's what ive been saying...

I disagree. Even if the father commited murder before the transplant can take place. The baby's life is more important. So just make special arrangement to let the transplant be done. It's that simple.

The father's action's shouldn't impact on the child's transplant at all, one has nothing to do with each other. The father is alive, his kidneys are not damaged. It should be done as planned!

The only thing in the way is stupid red tape. When a life is at stake, people are not flexible enough to make exceptions in life threatening situations. Precisely like Charlie Gard.

This is why I can never work in an MNC. Prefer small companies where I get direct access to the boss. I tell you, it seriously drives me crazy when there is an emergency and you got to go through layers and so much time to get something urgent pass through.

And this is life and death!

And in this case, it's priorities are all fucked up. Whatever inconveniences it takes to have this transplant go through on time! It's worth it to save the baby! Like just don't talk about SOP and having to stick to it. It's life and death!

Face it Greta, he doesn't give a fuck about his son's transplant, or he wouldn't have got himself arrested a week before it was due to took place. He just thinks he can emotionally blackmail some special arrangements out of this this that'll keep him out of jail.

I think you don't understand the part where just because the kid is born to shitty parents which is not the kid's fault. The kid don't deserve to die because the kid never GOT TO CHOOSE his father. So stop punishing the kid just because his father fucked up.

That is my point! This is the angle the "government", "hospital", whoever is preventing this transplant from happening is not seeing! Screw any red tape in this situation!
It's a life or death situation.

As I was saying, in this situation in my country. He wouldn't be able to escape jail. He will have to serve jail AFTER he finish recovery and his hospitalisation.

We had many people post pone their jail terms in Singapore. For whatever valid reasons. But they can never escape it. And the reason must be reasonable. Like a woman got jailed for 7 years and she was able to post pone her entering the jail by 6 months, because she needed to make new arrangements for her children, without her around. Reasonable requests. She still serves 7 years counting from the day she goes in.

In this case, if he needs to give up a kidney, recover in the hospital. After the doctor says he is recovered, then his DAY 1 in Jail starts from AFTER he discharge from hospital.

Nobody escapes anything. Kid's life gets saved. Father still goes to jail AFTER donating kidney.

It seems like the real issue is the inflexibility of the US system to make special arrangement to save a life. And this involves an innocent child. The same reason that woman in my country was granted a deferment to her imprisonment because the children matters, and she needs to make sure she finds a trusted caretaker for the next 7 years while she is gone.

The only person who prevented the transplant is the child's father. It wasn't the government, it wasn't the hospital, it wasn't the red tape, it was somebody who thought that whatever petty misdemeanour he broke his probation over was more important than his son's life.
No wonder the repulsive little turd is bleating to the media to try to make it look like somebody else is at fault over this.

JVoV -> RE: This Is A Tragedy (11/4/2017 9:49:39 AM)

Greta, he's out of jail, but keeps committing more crimes. I think even in Singapore, a person would still be arrested and held for a few days, until he can see a judge. And he's on probation, meaning he hasn't finished the sentence for his initial crime(s).

If a judge sees you every month, and you tell him the same thing every month, how many chances do you think you should get?

No. The real inflexibility is the father that can't stop breaking the law.

If nothing else, it makes it really hard to even schedule the surgeries, never knowing if the donor will show up, or be in jail again, or shot dead by police.

I see a mutual dislike/hatred for conservative/traditional America and an inability to get along with people, so the content is similar, but the posting styles are vastly different, which makes me lean towards not.

and Thompson never displayed the type of intelligence necessary to succeed at being undetectable across multiple profiles.

True, that. I sit corrected.

Edit: He sent me a cmail, recently. I did the "hover preview" trick and he was pissing and moaning about how we agreed (on what, I don't know) on something. As soon as I read those words, I deleted the cmail, unread, blocked him, went to throw up, and spent a few hours, re-examining my recent posts and re-evaluating my opinions.

Him getting shot dead by the Police might make the transplant more, rather than less, likely so long as they shoot him through the head: it's a lot easier to cut a transplant organ out of a corpse and keep it on ice until it's needed than it is to remove the organ from a live donor and switch it between warm bodies while it's still fresh, I'm told.
