Yes Greta they allow just about anyone who's a member of the church to teach classes. it's not a gig. They volunteer to do it. They're not paid for it, they are no more credentialed than any other person sitting in the class that they are teaching. I was teaching Vacation Bible School classes when I was 12 years old because I volunteered to work with the elementary kids. They let me because they knew I was good with arts and crafts not because I was any good at teaching the bible.
