Yes, it could only be clear to you, thats why he drove 40 miles to the church his ex-inlaws
attended rather than a megachurch in San Antonio, near him, where he could have killed many more xtians.

You got a handle on this, like nobody else does.

is that you mnottertroll?

I doubt it. The words 'putinjizz' and 'felchgobble' were missing from that particular rant.

Greta, it works a bit differently. Bible study classes, vacation bible school, etc at churches tend to be parishioners volunteering to do this. They are not paid employees of the church itself. There are no official credentials you need to have as someone would becoming a licensed teacher in the school systems.

Still a church cannot just allow just any volunteer to do this job right? I mean isn't this segment about educating kids about Christianity? It's a pretty serious job from a Church stand point, if they wanted future loyal followers to be fed the correct information.

They usually use the curiculum that the church approves.

Yes Greta they allow just about anyone who's a member of the church to teach classes. it's not a gig. They volunteer to do it. They're not paid for it, they are no more credentialed than any other person sitting in the class that they are teaching.

I was teaching Vacation Bible School classes when I was 12 years old because I volunteered to work with the elementary kids. They let me because they knew I was good with arts and crafts not because I was any good at teaching the bible.

Right, so how long till the next mass-slaughter, then? A month, two weeks? Get ready with those thoughts and prayers, folks!

PeonForHer -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 6:10:41 PM)

... I was just thinking: Can you get a one-click 'thoughts and prayers' app for Android? That could make things a lot more quick and efficient in the future.

What a callous, and horrifically insensitive remark.

How do you all handle acts of domestic terror/or mass slaughters across the pond?
Have you all given up hope, and decided not to pray and mourn the dead?

What measures have you all put in place to stop the next mass slaughter over there?

It is obvious that laws need to changed/measures should be taken to try to prevent incidents like this, but those killed
deserve respect, prayers and to be mourned.

It only took ONE over there.

How about French gun laws? the last mass shooting there killed over 300. Then there was the car attacked that killed more
was the car attack that killed over 100, yep they know how to avoid these things.

And their crime rate is virtually unchanged.

But it isn't because of the gun laws but rather the society.
We have made more progress in reducing crime than they have.

kdsub -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 6:51:06 PM)

lol are you blind... can you not read... you are the one that insinuated that because of the gun laws in France there were more homicides... you are wrong...as usual.

Even with their terrorist problem they have fewer deaths by gun per capita by far than the US...don't start backtracking with bull crap.

Butch

And far worse terrorist attacks.
Can't you think?
We have made more progress against crime than any of these countries with their draconian laws.

kdsub -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 7:06:09 PM)

We have not made more progress against crime and we have had more terrorists deaths in the US than France and the UK combined.

Over the last 5 years France alone has lost more to terror
than we have and yes we are consistently cutting crime except
in Chicago and St Louis.
.

kdsub -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 7:13:51 PM)

Bama... lets take all terrorists attacks... it is silly to take certain periods... if you want to do that then could I not say in the last 2 months there have been more attacks here than France?... No if you are going to use terrorist deaths then you need to cover 9/11 as well.

Butch

kdsub -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 7:18:48 PM)

You seem to think I want a UK type of gun law... I don't...but I do want the 94 law reinstated and strict laws for gun ownership... very different.

Butch

The French government was once ruled by terrorists by your rules we should count all the victims of the French revolution.
5 years is far more reasonable.

kdsub -> RE: At "least" 27 People killed in Texas church (11/6/2017 7:41:36 PM)

Dance some more...lol... you are not very good at it. The french revolution had nothing to do with Muslim terrorists... but both 9/11 and the recent attacks in France are related... by the way... you do know that violent crime as been increasing in the US over the last few years... right?

I wonder if you were to see the 17 month old baby with bullet holes in its head would you think differently about the availability of the AR-15 type weapons?

Butch
You do mean the guns that look like assault weapons ban which made no difference in the crime rate?
And your strict laws want me to pay for a psych eval every couple of years to exorcise my rights.

And this crap that says that since I don't agree with this I am as bad as the guy who did the killing in TX is just insane.
