I was posting new information for you to internally digest

Why on earth did you do that - with Bosco, of all people? God, you're a hopeless idealist, Lucy. [:(]

If you start with the difficult stuff once that's out of the way you can handle the easier stuff without even breaking stride.

Last week, Facebook, Google and Twitter officials were grilled by lawmakers from both parties on the Senate Judiciary Committee who pushed the companies for more answers on how their platforms were used by Russia.

Testimony from the companies released last week revealed that posts from Russian agents on Facebook reached 126 million users over a two-year period before the election, while Twitter published more than 131,000 messages from Russia agents.

More than 1,000 videos from Russian agents were uploaded to Google’s YouTube.

Company representatives testified last Tuesday that this represented a small number of the posts, messages and videos about the election on their services.

That seems a bit overdue. I wonder if they can do something about the Russian propagandists downvoting stuff on news sites as well?

Just a theory, but an interesting one:

quote:

If charged, Flynn could be subject to what's known as a speaking indictment, or relatively lengthy indictment that includes more facts and allegations than legally required. The indictments against Manafort and Gates were speaking indictments, and it's likely that one against Flynn's indictment would be as well.
Given that, Cotter said, it's possible that Flynn's defense lawyers were the source of the NBC News report because it "could serve as a nudge to Trump" to pardon Flynn sooner rather than later to prevent the release of a list of allegations damaging to both Flynn and Trump.
Neither Flynn's attorney nor the White House immediately responded to a request for comment.
"It's in everybody's interest for Flynn's team to leak information about possible charges," Cotter said. "If you're going to pardon Flynn, it does the most good for him and the White House to do it now, before that indictment is filed."
