ORIGINAL: Hillwilliam I know the caption to the video said "thousands" but I only saw several dozen. Maybe a bit in excess of a hundred. (maybe these are the same folks that counted Mr Trump's inauguration crowd.} Wasington Square park in the village just isn't all that big. It was a multi-city event. Hell, WSP wasn't even the only site in NYC (if I read the reports correctly) and, having grown up in NYC, I can tell you that the arch in WSP may be a "small" area, but there's much more to the park. Be that as it may, the one time that the word hits the mark is the one time people seem to complain about it the most. Not unusual. I would chalk that up to human nature, but I still find it ironic. The caption said "Truely Insane: thousands ‘scream at the sky’ in Washington Square Park, to mark the one year anniversary at the 2016 presidential election loss" "THOUSANDS in WSP" Heck, the article said 'hundreds' and mentioned various sites. The video showed many dozen and maybe a bit over a hundred. I stand by my post and its allegations of gross exaggeration.
