Trump supporters are getting really tired of all this winning

Senate GOP repeals ObamaCare mandate

Senate Republicans have approved the repeal of ObamaCare’s individual mandate as part of their tax-cut bill, a major step toward ending an unpopular part of the health-care law.

“Families ought to be able to make decisions about what they want to buy and what works for them — not the government,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) said, hailing the accomplishment.

“I believe if people don’t want to buy the ObamaCare insurance, they shouldn’t have to pay a tax penalty to the IRS.”

The Senate tax bill must still be reconciled with House legislation that does not include the mandate’s repeal. But that is unlikely to be a major issue, given support in the GOP conference for repealing the mandate.

Finding common ground in the Senate, getting the work that the American people voted for done.

The rest of the tax cut bill has a lot of good thing in it too, the economy (and Wall Street) are set to roar to life. Regardless of how much the leftist media howls about this president, when the economy gets to really rolling he will be extremely popular

Sen. Rubio tells a secret: After giving a tax cut to the rich, GOP will cut Social Security and Medicare

http://beta.latimes.com/business/hiltzik/la-fi-hiltzik-gop-social-security-20171130-story.html

Advocates for seniors and the middle class have been warning for weeks that the Republican drive to cut taxes for the wealthy is the prelude to a larger attack on Social Security and Medicare.
In a videotaped interview with two Politico reporters Wednesday, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said the quiet parts out loud. Asked by interviewers Anna Palmer and Jake Sherman how to address the federal deficit, he replied: “We have to do two things. We have to generate economic growth which generates revenue, while reducing spending. That will mean instituting structural changes to Social Security and Medicare for the future.” (A video of Rubio’s appearance is here, with his remarks on Social Security and Medicare beginning at the 21:45 mark.)

The only thing that’s new here is the explicit admission by a Republican officeholder that this is the GOP’s master plan to eviscerate the welfare and retirement of American workers. Budget analysts have seen it coming with all the subtlety of a freight train. As we reported earlier this month, the damage begins with the so-called Paygo law (for “pay as you go”), which requires Congress to offset any increase in the federal deficit with spending cuts. The law limits Medicare cuts to 4% of its budget per year, or $25 billion of its $625-billion budget. Because the tax cut proposals the Senate was preparing to vote on late Friday would expand the deficit by about $1.5 trillion over 10 years, it’s likely to trigger the cuts.

Only the wealthy pay taxes

So...

Watch the economy roar to life - for everyone (despite your propaganda source obviously lying about what Rubio actually said )

That will be a change from what historically happens. Why will this be different? And we dont know what the bill is yet. and it hasnt passed a final vote for signature. that bill has to pass both houses.

Wonder what will happen?

no not only the rich pay taxes, because those in the 40-50k a year will see their taxes go up.
seeing as half the population earns under 30 k a year, they still pay taxes.
why are you applauding 1.4 trillion adding to the debt, didnt you cough up hemorrhoids over the debt?
did you watch the video? I doubt it.
prove its false, go ahead, ...
im peeling an armadillo, so I have the time.

Rubio explained how the debt (that Obama doubled) can be tamed.

Q: Why doesn't your propaganda rag detail how SS and Medicare are set to fail without structural changes

A: Because they're mad howlers just like you

And what have the Democrats done to save said programs and curb the debt over the last 50 years?

Nothing at all, except howl about Republican efforts to work on them

Because, of course, there hasn't been a single republican president in power since 1967: none of the deficit has anything to do with Nixon, Ford, Reagan or either Bush: no, it's all on the three democrat presidents who had five terms between them than the republicans who were running your country for the other thirty years of the last half century.

When the answers to a debate argument are:
"You're fat"
"Your clothes suck"
"You're stupid"
"You're a racist"
"Your skin is orange"

The person making such ground-breaking statements has already conceded.

oh thats very true, so very very true

I guess we wait to see if the different bills from the Senate and the House be reconciled before Congress is scheduled to break for winter recess on December 17th.

Either way, the Senate needs 51 votes again to approve the reconciliation bill. The Alabama Senate election is December 12th. A Roy Moore loss would likely light a fire under some GOP asses to get this on Trump's desk by Christmas.

Wait - who is the tiebreaker again

Oh that's right, Republicans won the presidency, so that would be Pence

No worries anyway though. The House has the will to get it done on time and in line

I do believe the Republicans are all willing to push this one through asap. And God help us all.
