Smiles, well I have always heard that" A bird in the bush usually has a freind in there with it." As I was reading these post, and some very good responses, I, for the life of me kept hearing the quote " Romeo... Oh.......... Romeo, where for art thy Romeo"
Realization  and perhaps a very needed educated question might be: What could possibly be real about an online relationship, and if this be the case, can one really believe words on a computer screen? If someone types, Here slut, slave, submissive, place this make believe collar on your neck, take down all profiles and only state, " I'm now owned by words on a computer, an occasional telephone call Dom". Is there reality in this at all? I fail to see this, perhaps myself needing to have real time. I tend to think both genders would fall short and more than a few french fries of a happy meal, if they considered  this to be a real life event. Yes, we have certainly improved in our technology world here to communicate with the world, but have we forgotten that <and clearly some have, maybe never considered> that this is an on line site where we see all levels of people here. My concerns run deep that many haven't the level of experience and see not, hear not, fear not, especially newbies. We all have been burnt, by one or the other gender. Perhaps it came from the beginning of learning, however, usually this came from wanting to jump into the fire before you struck the match. Take your time, do your homework, be responsible about this whole realm, because if you don't no one else will. A learned lesson is just that. Be capable of seeing it.

Jesus... not mentioning age here, and don't know how to spell? this was painful to read...

My two cents?  If you spoke for quite a while, then you know what he does for a living.  If I had to pull 3 doubles in a row, darlin, I hate to say it, but I'm not thinkin about sending you an email.  I'm thinking about working 48 hours out of 72, and figuring out if I need to just hook up the coffee I. V. now, or wait until I need it...

just my 2 cents.

I do not like a jerk in pants
I do not like a jerk in a skirt
I do not like a jerk that's tall
I do not like a jerk that's a squirt

Could you? would you? with a jerk?
Could you? would you? if they smirk?

Well, I have had subs do the same thing to me only to find out they had a computer crash, so they say :), or a family emergency.

But USUALLY I think from a Dom it's more likely he'signoring you for some reason.

My unsolicited advice is don't rush it. There's plenty of jerks, wannabe Doms and HNGs [Horny Net Geeks] to weed through. Don't get involved with ANY Dom until you have met them in person in a vanilla setting at least once.

I found a website for you to look at:

http://www.sacramentozone.com/BDSM/

I know nothing about this group but it looks like a good place to start. Sacramento Area Kinksters [SAK] is a group I used to have membership but can't find them.

There's lots of groups and munches in the Bay area that affords you the opportunity to meet someone face to face.

I also recommend http://www.fetishexchange.org   as an educational resource.

Welcome to CM

To answer your question, it is because this is a written medium and at times, your spelling makes anything that you have to say very difficult to understand. And it is not a matter of making fun, it is a matter of saying that a lot of misspellings in a post makes the person posting come across as illiterate, ignorant, lazy or uncaring. Please understand i am not calling you any of those things, rather saying that misspellings give that impression. That either a person does not care how they "appear" or they don't want to spend the time to correct mistakes or they don't know that they are making them.

Sorry for the slight hijack, wanted to answer enigma's question.

WOW... this thread is all over the place...and loads of fun.. But honestly, most of us have ran into folks that we believed were the "one"... only to find them gone... I think it is always a good idea to try your best to learn from these types of situations, the best we can, and to try and stay as positive as we can. Most times these situations can turn out to be a great way to learn not only about net life, butt real life as well...

Oh and BTW... dayummm Level, you need to get published.. ~chuckles~... you are quite good.

Well, those ole overwhelming and powerful emotions can get ahold of any common sense ya have left, and just do a hostile take over! They kick ya butt! LOL Then ya just ride it out and hope for the slam dunk to come, that unleashed those power surges in the first place. Then ya begrudgingly begin to settle down and gain control of the wheel once more and continue on a more level highway...until ya get ALL your senses back.  It happens all of the time to many folks in what ever area, not just in this one.  Live, experience and HOPEFULLY learn. *grinz

based on your first couple posts in this thread... I would say you took yourself on alittle ride and he just happen to be the vehicle that you where riding.

Maybe next time you will be alittle more careful in what vehicle you put your emotions into.
