If we are talking about respect, then the following people are high on my list. Some are based on what they have posted here on the boards, some are just talking to them via phone or IM's. No specific order:

There are probably more and if I have left them off it is unintentional. Now, there are some I have very little respect for and I would list them in a heartbeat if I thought I could get away with it. I'm sure there are those who don't care for me, but it doesn't matter. This thread is about those that I admire, that I seldom say I do. Thank all of you for your wisdom and your sometimes controversal comments. You make these boards worth visiting every day.

No, as adults we should not. I mean, getting a response, within a debate or discussion, that's why we're here, but a thread like this is not necessary.  But a thread like this lets us tell each other, outside of a discussion, that we like their style.

That's what a dicussion forum is for - discussing.  If I don't want to hear why I'm wrong, I don't post.  If I want to be agreed with all the time, I buy a dog.  But if I want to tell the world how I feel, the world gets to tell me how it feels.  Fair is fair.

But seriously, posting funny stuff is far easier than serious stuff, even if you don't share my humour.  I also find that often, not always, but often, I can hide a serious point behind a stupid comment, and let people find it if they want to.

And thank you for the kind words.  Not that my comments will do any good, but it's good to know I have some support.

I actualy agree with you dear. Like Ron a lot of benji's 'humour' leaves me cold... its a little too 'American', but again like Ron, when he's being just a touch more serious, he tends to be worth reading.

This is the reason I said I would love to read more of Benji's serious comments. I do enjoy his writings when he is being serious. I also enjoy Ron's comments when on those very rare times when he is being serious. I see Benji as a hurt pup..he uses his playful side to disguise his pain. I could be wrong, but I think not. Benji, ever feel like they are talking about you while you are standing right next to them? lol

as for respect there are many..........Ravenmuse, Tamer, Ironbear, Level,LA, LaTigress, Celeste, Denise and Svagefaire..........these few stand out because although I don't get involved in alot of the serious posts I do read most of them and they always seem like the type of people I would love to sit and have a cup of coffee with and learn from them because they seem to have so much wisdom

Lots of folks I enjoy reading here, even when I disagree but...I've got to give props to LadyHugs.  She's sweet and there's often a lot of meat in what She has to say. 

Plenty of others I enjoy for different reasons but She's just one that comes to mind.

I agree with what benji suggested at first. I have some people here I extra appreciate. And some of them don't possibly have any idea I think this about them. But, I am not going to name them, for the exact reason he mentioned. I don't think this thread is wrong, exactly, but I personally cringe when I think of hurting someone's feelings by leaving them out. And how is it not possible to leave someone out? Sorry to sound like such a girlscout, but there it is. That being said - to each is /her own I guess. I love all of you. HUGs![:)]

as far as someone forgetting me in their mentions . shit happens ...... if I am on the list or not makes no difference to me .... I am who I am and thats all I am ever gonna be ... I personally don't need them but I appreciate when they are there. if you got someone you think is worthy of note mention them I don't think us adult like people will really get our feelings hurt.
 
but thats my opinion .. you do what you feel is right
