This is the reason I said I would love to read more of Benji's serious comments. I do enjoy his writings when he is being serious. I also enjoy Ron's comments when on those very rare times when he is being serious. I see Benji as a hurt pup..he uses his playful side to disguise his pain. I could be wrong, but I think not. Benji, ever feel like they are talking about you while you are standing right next to them? lol

First off, thank you both (MoGa and Raven) for your comments.  Glad to hear that my smart comments are actually that.

As to being a hurt pup, I'm not.  I mean, I have had my share of shititude in life, but probably less than the next guy.  I have been extremely lucky in life.

The reason I rarely post seriously is, really, that I don't believe most of these questions warrant a serious reply, or one that has not been given.  I believe that most questions that get asked have been answered before, or my opinion was already said.  Often, the answer is common sense, or so individual, others cannot answer it.  So why respond seriously?

The other reason I don't post seriously is simply because I believe that laughter is our greatest asset.  If I have a roof above my head, food on the table, air to breathe, and water to drink, I will next want laughter.  A good joke lets us forget our troubles, cures our ills, and makes us better people.  Too often we get dragged down by stress and everyday crap, and don't take the time to smile or laugh.

So, ask me to post more seriously, and all I will tell you is the welfare of my fellow posters depends on me NOT.

Yours,

benji

Edited to add:

MoGa,

Your comment about my humour a few weeks ago did not offend me in the least.  I can easily accept someone not appreciating certain jokes of mine, just as people had better accept when I don't appreciate their posts.  I am critical of other people on here, and would hardly find it fun if no one ever told me to shut my yap.  Although, the Mods tell me a bit too often....  (PLEASE DON'T SMITE ME, XI!)

Enigma, i never get mentioned in these threads either and i've been on here probably as long as anyone who is still posting. It's no biggie, but i understand your feelings.

I do want to thank LadyAlbatross for taking over the thread jerking job, i know how time consuming it can be.

benji: Are you ever getting married? I am half teasing you, because I am mostly a submssive anyway, and also old enough to be you real-life mother, But - remember how puella wanted to marry CrappyDom? Well, I just decided I want to marry You!  I can resist your smartass puppiness no longer. I promise to keep you in Kibble, tennis balls, new leashes, and whatever else you want, for life.
Think it over..!.

Tamer: It's unbelieveable but still true, Tamer. Yes. My profile says I am a Switch (at least in theory). Besides - benji knows I am kidding (but not that much, really, he.) Ahem. As far as male submissives, I must confess, I've always had a definite thing for cloudboy (wow, I just blew my cover there - guess that's out of the closet now), but - he's more or less "taken." Not that it means I don't love benji (not at all. Please don't be offended by my last remark, benji).

benji: Take your time answering. No pressure, pup. Don't answer in haste. Think it through. It could be a wonderful wedding. Just think: Kibble and tummy scratches for life!

Yours forever,
- Susan

Well, there is the list of usual suspects.. those on my favorites, but some who I really don't mention very often, but whose postings I do appreciate are BlkTallFullfig, jonathan, Denise (who would be on my favorites if I could ever remember how to spell her freakin screen name when I'm on the other side!), Mistoferin, SusanofO, CT, Sleazybutterfly, Cuddleheart (who gets my vote for Sweetest CM member), Hizgeorgia, Zumala, Puella, DRH, chershireboy, ExSteel, Nakedonmychain and my newest crush (who actually is on my favorites) is LaT. ::chuckles:: For those who I missed, I do apologize.. butt you can spank me for it later.

::contemplates going back and taking LaT off just so she can spank me for it later!::

Celeste

benji isn't going to answer my marriage proposal. He is just going to let me hang in mid-air.

benji, please don't be cruel. It's been hours now...I said I'd be patient, but darling, have mercy on me.

Yours forever, as-long-as-the-Earth-is-spinning-on-its-axis,

And THIS is why I probably have more respect for you than anything Benji...laughter is important.  I have the same outlook....have a crappy day....go find something to laugh at, have a good day make someone else laugh.....or Hell...make your ownself laugh.

I hesitate to list people here, because there are SO many people here that I'd love to just sit and chat with if the opportunity were to ever present itself.  However, I simply must state that Ironbear, Celeste, Puella, Gina, LA, RavenMuse and Knightofmists are high up on that list.

Of course, there are a handful of people who are actually painful to read, so I try my best to ignore them.

p.s.  If I didn't list you, please don't be offended.  I'm old and tired.

First off, I was at a munch.  I did not ignore no one.

Second, Susan, it's not only kibble and balls that I need, I also need solid thwackings for being a smartass.  Therefore, let's just be friends.  LOL.

(Also, caitlyn would kill me if I married someone else)

As to all the nice comments (I'd quote them, but that dead horse needs no more flogging.  We all know I'm great)  Thanks!  It really is appreciated.

Yours,

benji

I have to add as far as someone I have a deep respect for is our beloved Level.

That man takes punches, encourages people, and makes them laugh.  I also know he will take time to listen and be compassionate and objective when needed. I recently wanted a male perspective about something and thought long and hard who I could email...he kept coming to mind , so I emailed him and he took the time to give his view which I really appreciated. I would have him for a friend any day.

I don't crush on him....I respect and admire him.

I just went back and read through the start of the thread, and I realized something.  Shivvy has to be the cutest person out there.  I have no idea what she looks like, it's not that.  But her writing style is so damn cute, I just want to jab out my eyes and scream.  She writes exactly the way an 8 year old brit talks (in a good way), and it's adorable.

Just thought I'd say that.

Yours,

benji
