OK, I am officially pissed.  This was not supposed to be another popularity contest as the crush thread has been accused of being on occasion, it was supposed to be where you go to heap compliments on the people you DON'T have a crush on, but still like.  Now, half of it has turned into "nobody loves me" crap, and I'm half tempted to shut the shit down and not come back to the goddamn boards.  I know I've said this before, but that was because of the mods...this is because of normal users.  Do not make me start a "people that piss me off" thread.

Benji, you still rock, I meant what I said.

LaMa, still love you.

Slutterfly, still love you too.

Sage, thanks for the help lately.

Level, I don't think I've mentioned it before, but you and I need to go drinking.

Gauge, ditto.

Bita, I haven't said this in a while, but I still like you and think the world of you.  Your opinion is always admired and welcomed.

ENIGMABRAT, IF YOU ARE READING THIS, TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER AND CALL ME RIGHT THE FUCK NOW IF YOU EVER WANT TO SPEAK TO ME AGAIN...IT'S TIME WE HAD WORDS

I think that I have had so many touch me in different ways from the boards.  I have had the ones of course that tick me off some..but along with them and in higher quantities, I have met wonderful people, and good friends.

To Sage, you mean so much to me, I can't even express what your friendship and caring have brought in to my life.  We are sister Switches, with our lovely OCD tendencies, and smart ass comments.  You have been a light in my life, and a friend I treasure.

Red, you are great.  When others pushed me down and told me I was nothing, you pointed out and shared your life with me.  I have found our many things in common have given us a bond and a friendship that I hope will last always.

Level, you are a great guy.  I love your teasing, flirting ways.  I go into off topic a lot just to see what my favorite cowboy has been up to.  I will lasso you someday though, you just wait and see.

LaTigresse..you just kick ass all the way around.  I think if you had a whip in your hand, you would scare the shit out of me, but I would love to just hang out, enjoy the view of the valley, with a nice bottle of wine in hand.

Bratling, you are my sweet...and you know I care.

Gina, your stories crack me up.. no matter how damn bad my day is..thanks for them.

Celeste.. I love your attitude..and I hope each time I read something you wrote, I take a bit of it with me.  Watch out world!

Shivvy, my sweet...You have such a wonderful heart.  You are nice to everyone, and the kindest soul.  I don't know you very well, yet..but I look forward to gaining your friendship and counting it as gold.

My VH and LaM... you both mean the world to me.  I look forward to many great times together, a lot of laughs, and hopefully a few beatings.  You both always listen and are there for me, and I only hope you know how much that warms my heart.  I love you both, I mean that...thank you for coming into my life.

I am sure I have missed some, and please forgive me...so many, mean so much in different ways..it's just hard to fit them all here.

Slutterfly

I just went back and read through the start of the thread, and I realized something.  Shivvy has to be the cutest person out there.  I have no idea what she looks like, it's not that.  But her writing style is so damn cute, I just want to jab out my eyes and scream.  She writes exactly the way an 8 year old brit talks (in a good way), and it's adorable.

Just thought I'd say that.

Yours,

benji

awwww, bless - thank you benji hunny >< - i luv you too..

VH i think a people that piss me off is a good idea. One place for people to air bad views about each other and if you dont wanna read whats in it - you dont read it.

My list for here would be :-

La Malinche - she stuck by her views yesterday and aired them - i respect such honesty.
Shreveportmaster - he is a good friend and always has time to help me with my Gor studies.
Savagefaerie - no matter whats going on with her she always has time to talk to and help others.
Sleazybutterfly - for speaking her mind and her honesty.
My Sir - he who cannot be named lol.

after reading all these posts i would like to add this:
i think everyone here has valid and good thoughts...sometimes i agree and sometimes i don't but, you all have drawn me out of my shell and each day i feel a bit braver to post. What matters most to me is that everyday you all make me think. you make me laugh. somedays you even make me cry. agree or disagree, i am truly coming to love and respect all opinions. So, to me, a list of names isn't important...you all make me feel. and make me see all options and you make me want to keep coming back....so i humbly thank EVERYONE!

love,
roe

Thank you to all the mods who patrol these boards, an unpaid and often thankless job, thank you to the wonderful folks who run this place so we have a community to call our own.

Do you ever just have one of those "slap on the head" moments, where you cannot see how in the world you could have not thought of something, or in my case, someone.  This was a Homer Simpson, "Doh" thing..now I have a headache, but it is worth it.

My Missy..my UK friend, everything you write.. I hear in that accent, and if I ever get over there, I am attacking your hot ass..lol..and then crashing on your couch.  Warning: you may never get me to leave.  Seriously you are a very cool person, and make me laugh my ass off (do this more.. I need to lose some lbs.)

"bloody'ell" .. .no reason for that, I just like to say it.  Since I was talking about my UK friend, I just thought it might fit somewhere, though probably not, and I just used it as a vain attempt to get away with it.

dearest benji,

Although I am somewhat disappointed no wedding can take place between us,
I do understand that you are a pup with needs beyond Kibble and tennis balls, and that as a mostly submssive person, it would not be right for me to expect you to go unfulfilled in that area. I really do understand. Therefore, I accept your offer to just remain friends. And for being so gracious in your reply, I am mailing you some Purina Bacon Bits. You are a wonderful pup!
Your submissive pal always -

Susan

I totally got the intent of your OP.  I hate list your fav people...and rarely post on those.
I am boggled sometimes why I get added to lists.  I am a very humble person.

There are tons of people I love and admire...but some I feel deserve to know how they have enriched my life in some way.   Everyone who know me knows I  am crazy about them because I tell them all the time.

Some simply deserve recognision...forum wise. I have posted twice  here.....hell might do it again it someone awes and inspires me.......or maybe not. Since I generally will let them know via email.

You know, as I read through this I started to realize a few things. Due to circumstances in my life recently I have grown to appreciate people a bit more than I guess I once had... not that it was a problem before but I see it a bit more clearly now. I have been here for a while now and if I didn't find it worthwhile to be here or that there weren't people here that were decent folks, I wouldn't have stayed long.

This being said, I think highly of many of you. Some I do not, but that does not mean that I don't respect your right to be here. I cannot point to one or the other and give my (for lack of a better term) praise to. I find that I can learn from everyone. A few years ago I learned a very valuable lesson from a young boy who was no more than five or six at the time. He showed me that amongst all the chaos that life can be that it is still important to stop and notice the little things in life that we tend to overlook because our thoughts are elsewhere. This young man is now twelve and I am proud to say he is my son.

My point in telling you about my son is to illustrate that if you look closely enough, there are lessons everywhere for us to learn if we are willing to listen. Sometimes the lesson we learn is how we do not want to act. Sometimes we learn that we want a certain quality that someone else has in their lives and we strive for that. Sometimes the lesson that we learn is that there are more lessons that we need to learn.

One other person I have to mention that may or may not have already been mentioned (sorry) is Noah.  Read another post tonight that was, as often is the case, right on the mark.

Noah, you rock and I give you props.

Also, Noah. He might be rude and crude, but when it all comes down to it, he knows his shit.

Sorry for not going through the whole thread before posting but yes, Noah was mentioned previously (oops).

A quick thank you to those who said nice things about me . Please believe me when I say the good thoughts are reciprocated, to you as well as to a number of others.

Also, a dancing banana to those who, in other threads and avenues, have called me "asshole", "self-rightous", and disparaged my "character".
