The hours I'm on right now. 24/7 always on call.... uck. Yes I only work a few hours a day, but it's the constantly having to be ready to go, and never getting a deep sleep due to sleeping with 3 phones beside my head.

My work schedule is so crazy and hectic and they have been bumping it around for the last few weeks. Some days are short days and I have free time after or some days are like today where I am crazy busy running around with a chicken with my head cut off and loooooooong too over 9 hours so it just depends for me and then I have to fit school and research in with that too.

Guess I am the lucky one in the bunch ... I am first off a mother which is long hard hours ( thank  the heavens for school)  and at times  ( and there have been those times ) it is almost 24 hours non stop.... But I also am about to seriously embark on making a career of my writing so the hours for it know no boundries So tho I  dont have to get out I  probally have the strangest hours but do so luckily from home

My first nursing job was rotational shifts. Pretty common back in the 70's. 2weeks of
7-3, two weeks of 3-11 and two weeks of 11-7. It was murderous. I would just get used to one shift and have to switch to a new schedule.

I hate being inside when the sun is out.  I help Hubby with certain aspects of His business and I hate it when He asks me to do something on a day when I could be working in the yard or playing golf.
