ORIGINAL: SusanofO I think he will eventually be forgiven by the public because they may realize he's human, like we all are. That being said, his being a celebrity and all, I think he displayed horrendously bad judgment. I know he was drunk, which is even wose (but perhaps more understandable). What I can't figure out is why some celebrities seem to have so much credence in non-Hollywood celebrity areas, like politics, for example. I mean, many or most of them appear to know less than many random neighbors of mine, for instance, about such things. I cannot figure out why anyone would listen to them in any arena outside of moviedom. Of course, this was an insult, so in a different category, but still...the only celebrities doing work outside of Hollywood I really give much credence to are those doing charity work, such as Bono. He's put his money where his mouth is, and also his time, several times over. - Susan I hope Bono never falls from *grace* in that case. He'd be much less of a decent chap if he got blindingly drunk and behaved like an utter moron, wouldn't he? despite his leanings and charity work. Some of the most decent people I know have behaved abominably now and then. .....and so have I ( not that I have a saintly bone in my body). I'm not waiting on forgiveness.........LOL I, personally, always had the most superb judgement when drunk( or so it seemed at the time)..grin.... agirl
