ORIGINAL: LaMalinche Ooo. . . oo. .. I just love this. . . I am writting a dissertation on it ya know. . . Why I do not respond to an email. . . This is kind of like "What I did on my summer vacation. . ." Well, my big reason is that I have nothing to say. Nope, nada. Also, I may be tired, I may be too cranky, I may be doing something else. You see, my YIM lets me know when I have messages, and so I pop over and read them. But I also might be making a post and would rather make a post that reply. Or I might be on a phone call and I am multi-tasking, and typing requires two hands, whereas the mouse only needs one. BTW I have not gotten an email from you. Pretty much exactly what I was going to say. Sometimes you just have time to read now answer later, or you want to wait to a time where you can think clearly about your response...people do this to me all the time...I think nothing of it...actually I'd rather wait and have an intelligent response instead of something hastly typed or something that drips with attitude, not because of me, but because they have had a bad day. Also, if I get no response, fine with me, they were not for me anyway. One other thing...what did "you" send? Was it respectful? Could it in any way been taken wrong? Or did you send the famous one word or one sentence emails...such as "hello" and that's all? Personally, I don't respond to those much, unless I'm bored and just want to see where it goes, then all I get is more one worders back and forth, then I tell them that this is not messenger and to please send only emails here, of course they disappear, oh well...I feel if they don't care enough to write a proper email...why should I take the time to respond?
