Okay, here are mine, in no particular order: C-Span, 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday Morning, CNN, Fox, BBC online, Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, US News and World Report, The Economist, and I use yahoo to pick through the Christian Science Monitor and Reuters.

My favorite "talking head" is probably Cokie Roberts, but she isn't on weekly anymore, unfortunately.

Least favorite is a tie between Sean Hannity and Cal Thomas.

I used to listen to Rush daily, and I still would tune in if I had the time, not for a source of information, but for entertainment purposes.

I can't stand watching most of the cable news channels which to me is always just a bunch of guys saying "You suck!" and then "No YOU suck!" While I do watch the Daily Show, it's not to get updates on the news.

I read national/world news on the internet , local news in the newspaper.........and listen tonews on the radio...

I listen to talk radio and watch cable news and talk shows (mainly Fox). Tv news is useless except for sports scores and weather. Some of the people who's opinions and commentary I respect would be Larry Elder, Dennis Prager, Al Rantel, Howard Stern and Bill O'Reilly. I do read newspapers as well (mainly The LA Times), but you need to look past the agendas and liberal bias of most newspapers in many instances.

When I get up each morning, I turn on a local radio station with news/weather/traffic reports and listen to that for about an hour. Then in I usually watch the news on TV each night. I also have My AOL welcome page set up to show news and will occasionally click on articles of interest that I see there. Never been much of a newspaper reader.

i find the bbc website to be a good starting point, if only for the archives and links sections.....

I get the majority of my news online. Every morning, while drinking my coffee, I read the online NY Times and the International edition of CNN's web page. Then, if I want to read a bunch of stuff from people who feel exactly as I do about things, I go to Alternet. Then to the online version of our local daily fishwrapper. I also get info from The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. On NPR, I like the Morning Edition and All Things Considered, but sometimes their in depth human interest stories seem like just 'too much information' and I wish they'd take that time to give us more hard news.

I watch CSPAN, Lou Dobbs, and once in a while ''Hardball'' with Chris Mathews {just because I like how fast he talks} On the radio I like Bob Barr's '' Laws of the Universe'' and Greg Palast from the BBC. There are also various Economists that come on NPR and various other networks from time to time that I listen to. However... the vast majority of my news comes from sources within the internet.

I both totally despise and stay away from, any and all of the right / left-wing ideologues that inhabit the corporate media. Whether it is Hannity or Paul Begala, they have zero credibility with me. If they say the sun is shinning in Oregon.... I walk outside and check.

The other thing I do, is twice a week I have about an hour-and-half phone conversation with my Dad who lives in Rancho Mirage/ Lake Tahoe - And we discuss everything the surrounds the geo-political landscape and money related matters/ the economy.

Good point about the idealogues, R. That's almost always a sure sign of either someone with an axe to grind, or someone unwilling/unable to open their mind, and think.

The Independent, The Guardian (and The Sun when I want to see a front page divided between a fox that won the £10 on the lottery and 10 reasons why the British still rule the world).

BBC2 and Channel4 have some quality informative documentaries on about other religions/cultures etc.

I do enjoy Howie Carr, he has a bit of the twisted sense of humor I share and enjoy. But my fave is Jay Severin. He used to be on at 3P, now he is on at 6P and I don't get to listen as much. While I don't always agree with him, there is just something about his voice, his language skills, his edgy dark humor and his intelligence that makes me swoon.

PBS mostly, I watch the local network news for local stuff, highway projects, local crime news, etc. but mostly it's "News Hour with Jim Lehrer" and "Charlie Rose" daily, with "Washington Week", "Now", "Colorado Inside-out", and "Colorado State of Mind" weekly, then "Frontline" when it's on. "Nova" has done a lot of science-related current events programs.

On the road I listen to NPR, living in the middle of nowhere I drive long distaces so I listen to a LOT of that.

i get all my news from the Daily Show. It's the most trusted fake news program in the world. In seriousness, i get most of my news from random places; if i want to know more about something practicular that's going on, i just look for more random sources.

The BBC. It gets attacked by all political sides, which is always a good sign.

I think there ought to be a law against political bias in news, either left or right.

Radio - NPR. Internet---Newsmax, The Moderate Voice and a few others. I like the Washington Post as well. I really dislike CNN and FOX

I don't know for sure, but it seems to me that most members of collar me re more liberal than conserevitave?? I mostly watch FOX but read a lot of papers on line from all over the country. I am a rare union member Republican . My mane conserve is the sucurity of this Country. I'd much rather have George the 2nd there instead of Al Gore>>>>>>
