I suppose we'll have to agree to disagree, cin. I can agree that a lot of behaviour is learned, and there are illnesses (sp?) to be taken into consideration sometimes, but I also believe that there are good and bad folks out there.

I agree it was a good thing .  Will the family of the rapest , I mean the family mental ill ,  steroid   inraged drug addict see it as a good thing ? ... hmm ... I could see spun that way with no problem .

Do I agree with it  ? Nope.

Would I shoot the rapist ? 
Problably not ... control the gun first , then stop the situation , shoot if I have to ( once the victim is clear ).
If I was 98lbs ?
@ 98 lbs  I  would try to shoot him ..

Status: offline 		in my humble opinion, i think MOST people are good people. at the end of the day, i think we all really want the same thing. to look after our loved ones and to raise our children in a safe and healthy environment.
 
i think some people can be nasty, but i dunno why some people like being nasty. a variety of reasons i guess. but i think everybody should be treated as an individual, and we shouldn't judge anybody by how they live their lives, just by how they treat others. (and D/s isn't a bad thing, coz some are just Dominant and need to dominate, and others are just submissive... i just think it's the natural order of things)

Really, I think that I won, because my arguments were gnarly, uber-powerful, and had a crisp outer shell, while being tender on the inside.

Digging thru CD's, I have the mood music here somewhere. The pistol is in the vault and I do remember the combination so line up those senior citizens dammit.!

In all honesty I sincerely doubt there are very many purely evil or purely good people. The movie "Stevie" serves to underline that. However I do feel there are people that are so destroyed inside they can never be fixed and should never be free to hurt others. Many serial killers fit that category. Those are the people that cause me to feel the death penalty is not necessarily a bad thing.
