I no longer watch television ( I got rid of mine almost 4 years ago and have no desire to resume such a passtime ); when I did watch though, my favorite shows were

anything that was shown on the History channel; anything that was shown on the Discovery channel; this old house; hometime; and 20/20

I am the worlds worst when it comes to TV . my parents used to throw out the TV guide cause I would tell them what was on and what channel

some of my current favorites

NCIS
The Unit
Law and Order (SVU and CI)
Crossing  Jordan
House
CSI (vegas and NY)
The Closer

older shows Quincy ME . Marcus Welby. Mash. BJ and the Bear. Knight rider. baywatch <man those girls can act>

Hart to Hart, Baretta, Columbo, A-team, man from atlantis

I'm sure there were others but I'll remember them later

Sheesh Tamer, were we raised in the same household??? Most of your shows are the ones I watched. Forget Baywatch, give me The Six Million Dollar Man any day <s> I have a chat friend that looks JUST LIKE Michael Weatherly from NCIS. I became a fan of his from Dark Angel. It only ran 2 seasons, but I had the BIGGEST crush on "Logan" and on "Joshua" lol how funny is that? And Vincent from Beauty & The Beast

ohhhhh hell yea . the six million dollar man and WOMAN ... loved jamie do her running thing bannnananadanananananana then jump like that . yes yes

I had a brief stint in another body where i watched the muppets and fraggle rock but my doctor assures me Iam cured now

Laugh-In,

Sleazybutterfly,
Do you really remember this show? I believe it was cancelled in the early 70's. Of course, that is what re-runs are for. I seem to forget about those <s>
I was both shocked and mildly amused when Richard Nixon guest starred on it.

Goodnight Dick.

Seinfeld (Keeps me up on my NYC accent)
House (Keeps me up on my NYC sarcasm)
Barney Miller (Trying to remember if that a comedy or documentary of NYC in the 70's?)
Twilight Zone (The old B&W versions. Reminds me of college life)
Monty Python's Flying Circus (College again. It helps to watch at 4:20)

Honorable mention: South Park (Like me - it sees the humor in social hypocrisy.)

I couldn't tell you when any of these are actually on ... not much of a fan I guess. I tend to catch them while channel flipping.

Golden Girls   Mash   Quincy M.E.    The Carol Burnett Show   Friends

edited to add a 6th:  Everybody Loves Raymond ----does anyone remember the tv shoe Logan's Run?  flashback

I liked Logan's Run, both the tv show and especially the movie, and if I remember right, I still have the novel, by William F. Nolan, a solid science fiction page turner.

Will and Grace
Old Cartoons........Ex. Foghorn Leghorn, Wyle Coyote, Bugs
Sex in the City
The Andy Griffith Show..........yes must have Barney (Level do you remember the episode that the goat ate dynamite?"Blewy Andy BLEWY!!!!!")

I am not much into fictional story TV, I mostly watch stuff on National Geographic, Travel, History etc

LOL, yes, I remember that episode . And I love the ones with Earnest T. Bass, too.

And my best friend is absolutely devoted to Cow and Chicken . I tend to the Looney Tunes, Rocky and Bullwinkle ("hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!!"), and Ren and Stimpy.

1.  Hill Street Blues
2.  M*A*S*H
3.  Gilligan's Island
4.  CSI (the original Vegas one)

And because I can't decide between the two, it's a tie between South Park and Rockstar
