I've never heard of Bubble Tea...hmmm...

I also had lamb, with spinach sauteed in garlic and olive oil, and a glass of wine.  A bite of Schaerffen Berger chocolate for dessert :)

Bubble tea is rather different to say the least. Auuugh! on the Schaerffen Berger! Auuugh I say.

edited to add...I'm not responsible for anything I say...I finally broke down and took half of a vicodin for pain.

I looked it up.  I'll stick with coffee, thank you very much.  [8D]

And YAY to someone who knows how good Schaerffen Berger is!

I'm not a coffee drinker. Bubble tea isn't something I've drank often. I've made it far more often than I've consumed it. Made mainly when she would come for dinner or on holidays. It was our little ritual to do in the kitchen to spend time catching up.

In regard to the Scharff. Egads, there are people that don't know how good it is? How is that possible?

whoops. Shhhh. You know if we keep talking about it others will want to try it and that will mean less for us. So

Scharffen Berger chocolate is absolutely horrible stuff. Really. So if you haven't tried it, you don't want to do so. Gag. Gag. Atrocious stuff really.

pad thai with all the sweet stuff taken out with bubble tea made the old way.

godamn...if I can find a girl who can make bubble tea the way I like it i'll kill to get her the perfect wedding ring.

Bubble tea isn't that hard. I have a great asian grocery not far from me and they carry the right sized boba for it. My um's ex gf was from Vietnam and she taught me how to make it years ago. I prefer the original white personally, the black "pearls" squick me out a bit. Shaken, not stirred. LOL

On topic...A lambchop, new potatoes roasted in some olive oil and garlic and some asparagus with just a squeeze of lemon.

Oops..edited to add...sorry tiger..even if this is the "right" way, I'm not looking. But jewelry is always nice.

Whites okay if it contains the right ingrediants, black oolong tea, very strong. The boba, milk, condensed or not, and honey. Everything iced.

And if I even taste a hint of fruit someones getting stabbed in the eye with the straw.

I havent had teh green pearls though, I hear theyre more chewy, yum.

Rumtiger -> RE: what did you have for dinner? (8/16/2007 3:15:29 PM)

The green have the same taste as green tea. The black just kind of squick me out. Chewiness is obtained through cooking time of boba. So really any can be made at whatever the desired consistency. Try a clover honey for a nice little difference. Fruitiness is forbidden.

you perv.

Isn't that how it's supposed to be to begin with? Chewier than a ball gag and not too soft so some pressure needs to be used.

Awfully demanding for an *s* aren't you? LOL

again I repeat my non-responsibility clause of previous threads. It's the vicodin talking.

LOL I've been cooking sauce since yesterday. With meatballs and hot italian sausage. I've been dipping bread on and off all day. So I doubt I'll be hungry for dinner anytime soon. I'll be doing a couple pans of lasagna later tonight and some stuffed shells with taleggio, duck sausage and some basil for the freezer.

twasn't Me. Mine are made with ground chuck and ground lamb sometimes a little ground veal. Turkey anything is just wrong. Although the duck sausage is quite tasty.
