Logos is a chain of Christian Book Stores in the USA. They might be dangerous if you are extraordinarily susceptible to Christianity as a viral infection...or if you are a haemophiliac who gets paper cuts from the New Testament. Otherwise I think it is pretty safe for most of Us.
LAGOS on the other hand is a fairly dangerous place. And by the way, the intermittent electricity issue plagues much of West Africa. If I were warning someone about going to Nigeria, I'd mention 1. AIDS infection rates approaching 20% of adults under 40*, 2. Endemic corruption resulting in the near breakdown of social order in the cities and 3. the intense tribal hatred between the Bantu and just about everyone else, resulting in wide spread violence, lawlessness and gang action. Having electricity for only 4 hours a day is pardon Me, a fucking walk in the park.
I'm building the bomb shelter now.

*The scary thing is that the AIDS infection/transmission rate in Nigeria is among the lowest in Africa, but the population is so large that in real numbers, you have almost 3 million infected persons, which makes Nigeria third in the world in real numbers behind India and South Africa. And most of those people don't have access to retrovirals. You ever wonder what real terrorism would be? Imagine 10 million or so impoverished AIDS victims with NOTHING left to lose venting their rage on the Western countries. It will make 9-11 (and for My Brit friends, the July 2005 attacks) look like a fucking love fest. And it will have nothing to do with Al-Queda, or Islam. Sorry if that pisses in your cornflakes.
